Reflections on Internet+Education
A few days ago, I saw an article on "Micro-courses and Massive Open Network Courses", and naturally I thought of the "lightweight" teaching that I recently came into contact with in the live broadcast class of mutual programs.

With the rapid economic development in China today, does our family lack certain economic conditions and cannot afford to buy a mobile phone or tablet computer for our children? Of course not! What we lack is a kind of thinking, an educational thinking connected with the Internet. The definition and significance of "Internet+Education" are as follows:

Nowadays, "Internet+Education" is a new form of education that combines Internet technology and education with the continuous development of science and technology. Information technology has penetrated into all aspects of society. In the field of education, a subversive change in information technology is quietly taking place. In the modern information society, the Internet has the characteristics of high efficiency, quickness and convenient communication, which plays an irreplaceable role in the study and life of primary and secondary school students and becomes a good helper for them. This is not only conducive to improving the ability of primary and secondary school students to learn and communicate online, helping children to increase their knowledge, broaden their horizons and enlighten their wisdom, but also more effectively stimulating children's thirst for knowledge and curiosity, more effectively cultivating good behavior habits of primary and secondary school students to think independently and explore bravely, and comprehensively educating and cultivating future builders and successors of the motherland.

In fact, our education has long been linked to "lightweight" teaching, but due to some reasons such as regional differences, this novel teaching method is slightly lacking in popularity. I have seen the promotional video of Apple combining ipad with education on the Internet. In the video, primary school students do physics experiments independently with ipad and write down the experimental report. When education and Internet are combined, teachers are no longer dominant in the classroom, but act as guides; The person who dominates the classroom and learning has become a student, and independently explores and draws a conclusion. This teaching method, which combines the scientific and technological revolution, not only brings convenience to teachers and students, but also makes students' learning more interesting.

Teachers and students should establish correct internet thinking. Internet is a bridge to communicate people's information release and acceptance, and this kind of thinking can also be applied to teaching. I think of a teaching video I saw two or three years ago: the teacher immediately assigned homework in class, the students finished their homework online within a limited time, the students' homework was displayed on the blackboard, and the teacher checked the students' preview of the new lesson after class, which also helped to grasp the teaching orientation of this class. From this perspective, it is not that our technology has not been applied to teaching, but that we know that we can change it, but we have not changed it. Our teaching still stays in the traditional fixed mode among teachers, students and parents: teachers talk and students listen; Teachers assign homework in class, and students finish their homework after class.

Can we also construct such teaching thinking or use this novel teaching method? Let our classroom be more efficient and energetic! It also makes our students more interested, taking learning as a happy thing and consolidating practice as a game and competition. Of course, behind this teaching method is the configuration of hardware equipment. Obviously, in the northwest, many places can't reach such hardware equipment. So, we can change the teaching AIDS again. Use what we already have to make changes. For example, I believe that everyone has ideas such as micro-courses, video online learning, instant information search, etc. in massive open online courses, but the effect is not ideal in practice. The problem to be overcome now is not the configuration of hardware facilities, but how teachers and students can effectively use the Internet. In today's intelligent social background, there are no people who can't learn well, only those who are lazy!

Ideas should be changed and actions should be efficient. In my opinion, what our education lacks is not advanced teaching equipment, but deep-rooted and unchanging thinking!
