Bai Shu Huaying Middle School in Xuanhan is a full-time rural junior middle school, which implements the principal responsibility system. Bai Shu Town Central School was founded in the thirty-second year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (1906), and was originally named Baishuchang (Xuanhan) public secondary school in Daxian County. Wang Yunan, the first headmaster, named the school after Xun Zhi to enlighten and inspire students' intelligence. Bai Shu Town Center School has trained a large number of talents for the country with the purpose of "cultivating wisdom" since its establishment one hundred years ago. Before liberation, there were revolutionary martyrs, progressive young people who went to Yan 'an, students studying in Japan and overseas Chinese living in the United States. After liberation, more than 6,000 national cadres, workers and soldiers have been trained nationwide, including university professors, engineers and leading cadres in different positions of the party, government and army. Bai Shu Town Central School has 24 classes with 1 120 students, and 9 villages with 44 classes with 1068 students. There are 68 classes with 2 188 students in the whole town. 1999, the school's "two basics" work of "popularizing nine-year compulsory education" and "eliminating illiteracy among young and middle-aged people" passed the acceptance of provinces and cities, consolidating the achievements of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. The enrollment rate of school-age children reached 100%, and the enrollment rate of special children reached 90%. The quality of education and teaching has improved steadily.
