Cross-border electronic commerce College was formerly the School of Foreign Languages and Overseas Education. The college consists of business English department, Japanese department, cross-border electronic commerce department and other teaching units and related functional departments.

The college has a team of 22 high-quality professional teachers, most of whom have corporate work experience and returnee background.

The academic leaders are Professor Zhao, a sunshine scholar, and Professor Li, a doctoral supervisor. Under their guidance, the curriculum system of business English majors is directly connected with the industrial chain, forming a distinctive and effective training mode for applied talents.

In addition to the modern language laboratory, the college also has a comprehensive business English training room with advanced equipment, an intelligent translation teaching laboratory and an intelligent translation research laboratory funded by Fuzhou Municipal Government, which can not only meet the learning and research needs of teachers and students, but also enable students interested in computer-assisted translation to understand the cutting-edge knowledge of corpus and AI translation.
