After reading this short story, I was deeply inspired. We should not show our "cleverness" in order to ignore the ecological balance, which will eventually lead to the demise of this king. Forests are indispensable friends for creatures living on the earth. It is the "lung of the earth", which can absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen necessary for human survival. She is "the great natural reservoir of the earth". People who cut down trees are hateful. They cut down trees for their own benefit and destroy the ecological balance. We should cherish forest resources, environment and the earth.
