Basic interpretation of the crisis: 1, seriously endangering the success or failure of survival. 2, refers to the economic crisis of capitalist countries. Encyclopedia's definition of crisis: it is a time when danger and opportunity coexist, a time to test decision-making and problem-solving ability, and a turning point in the development of life, group and society. It's a matter of life and death and interest transfer, just like a fork in the road.
In Anthropology of Education, Bornoff thought: "Only a few major concrete experiences can be called encounters, which invade people's lives, suddenly and often painfully interrupt people's activities, turn people in a new direction, and lead to major changes in their lives (interfere in people's lives)". In the book Twelve Key Words to Change Education, Mr. Hao puts forward three key words: sudden, painful and turning, aiming at Bornoff's view of "encounter", which makes me have a deeper understanding of the word "encounter". Knowing that "encounter" happened "suddenly broke in unsuspecting" and "led to a turning point in life and a sudden change in people's balance", as Mr. Hao wrote: "Abandon the old self and give birth to a new one", in fact, what made me suddenly enlightened was Mr. Hao's explanation of the second keyword "pain". He said: "Pain does not mean physical pain, nor does it mean mental injury. This is the same as "education is awakening" often said in education. If there is no "inner awakening", it can't be called "meeting", which is the most critical difference from the word "meeting". For example, after our students studied Li Zhenxi's "Educational Writing" course, some students were very excited at that time, and later resumed their previous lives, which basically did not affect their reading and writing. This is "encounter". On the contrary, after studying Mr. Li's class, I began to change my educational thoughts, attach importance to education, love students, and persist in reading and writing, which made a fundamental change in my educational life. This is a "chance encounter". For another example, in the face of the sudden epidemic in COVID-19, some educators realized the importance of life education, strengthened life and health education for students, improved students' quality of life from the aspects of thinking and physical exercise, and changed their educational concept, instead of focusing on achievements unilaterally, they took health as the basis. This is also a "chance encounter". On the contrary, it is also an "encounter" in the face of education. As long as it doesn't change people's minds and awaken people's souls, it's not a "chance encounter". Of course, as Mr. Hao explained, there are good experiences and bad experiences, and the results are different and the content forms are different. It may be a book, a story, a person, an event, a video, a movie or even a sentence. As long as you wake up, "break the balance of your original life, make people have a strong shock, lead to a turning point in life, and change yourself."
Regarding "crisis", Bornoff thought that "a sudden, big and worrying event interrupted the continuous life process" was called a crisis. Crises and encounters have something in common, such as "sudden" and "pain". Perhaps both of them may change the balance of people's lives, produce fundamental changes, shock the soul, awaken the soul, inspire people to behave differently from before, and become a new beginning. But unlike meeting, meeting can be measured by time, and the crisis may exist forever. As the book says, "from an anthropological point of view, as long as people are alive, there may be a crisis at any time." For example, in recent years, I always feel that I have little knowledge. In education, I always have a sense of crisis, lack of profound professional knowledge, broad vision and lack of educational wisdom. The sense of crisis urges me to keep working hard, sometimes it makes me feel a little impetuous and tired, knowing that I should be calm and calm, but the sense of crisis always lurks in my heart and urges me at all times. This is to understand the long-term and persistent crisis and the differences encountered from the perspective of self-feeling. In the face of crisis, it may encourage people to be proactive and work harder, give up because of the sense of crisis, be demoralized, and even "bring destruction, threaten people and lead to disaster". The sense of crisis will also "break the balance of the original sound life, interrupt the continuity of people, and make their education and life suddenly change" (Hao Xiaodong's Twelve Key Words for Changing Education).
Second, the enlightenment and implementation of encounter and crisis education
1, wake up education and wait for flowers to bloom.
"Education is awakening". Awakening can't be separated from meeting, which can't be preset and controlled. It is the product of spirit, unlike material things, which can be taken from here to there. Creating the conditions of encounter does not necessarily lead to encounter. Everyone is a different individual, because they have different growth, different thoughts and different personalities. In the face of the same experience, the results are different. As teacher Hao Xiaodong wrote in the book "Twelve Key Words to Change Education": "Whether an encounter happens or not depends on whether it is strongly touched, resonated and shocked in the deep heart. Reading the same book and listening to the same lecture is an experience for some people, but for some people, they turn a blind eye and turn a deaf ear. " Therefore, it is difficult to judge whether there is an encounter in education. Teachers can't control it at all, and they can't predict what will happen. They can only create as many conditions as possible, try to "wake up" their children and make them have fundamental changes, such as falling in love with learning, knowing how to respect and cherish life, facing life optimistically and positively, and letting children live and study in the sun. For example, in the event of an epidemic, students should be educated to do more physical exercise, improve their physical fitness, enhance their immunity and pay attention to life and health. Through understanding the epidemic situation, students have a sense of crisis about life, understand the fragility of life and the importance of health, and understand that it is not easy to go back to school, so that students can feel the cohesion of the people of China and the great love of the country for the people, and awaken their patriotism. It can also lead students to understand the deeds of some medical staff and more participants involved in epidemic prevention and control, so that students can have a sense of professional respect. Besides "awakening", education should also "teach students in accordance with their aptitude". After all, students are different and have different personalities. Be patient even if you don't show up, because it is impossible to face all the students in class at the same time, and all the students will not meet the same object. Every child is like a different kind of flower with a different flowering period. Even if they experience the same season and season, they will not bloom at the same time. They should be patient, confident and caring to students, and "wait for flowers to bloom".
2. Be grateful for the experience and change yourself.
I didn't transfer my job to a British middle school, and my daily education life is like boiling a frog in warm water, neither too hot nor too cold. Because of the surrounding environment, or because of confusion, it is a bit casual to work because of work. After being transferred to this school, the teachers are very enthusiastic, even the substitute teachers are not behind. They prepare lessons carefully, attend lectures and participate in education and scientific research. Few people are late for work, especially the class teacher. In addition to being serious in class, class management is still busy. Discipline, study, hygiene, class culture and handling affairs are all in a busy working state, which shocked me, made me feel pressure, had a sense of crisis and began to change. Spend more time preparing lessons, attending classes, correcting homework, and paying more attention to the classroom and students. I seldom chat with colleagues, slowly tighten the brain switch, keep up with the rhythm of new colleagues' new environment, and completely change my work attitude and state. I feel more and more shallow in knowledge and lack of professionalism. When I was hesitant to find a breakthrough, I was lucky to join the new network division last year. I think I have found a place, a direction, and an expert who can follow me. First of all, I chose Li Zhenxi's course "Educational Writing". Through teacher Li's lecture, I silently read a series of educational books, such as Love and Education, Teaching Thinking, Self-cultivation and so on, plus reflection, output and practice after reading, I feel even more inadequate, especially when reading. I am confident that I have read a lot, but this is not the tip of the iceberg, especially the books I have read before. There are also fewer educational books, which are of little use to education and teaching. Although there is a saying that "open books are beneficial", after all, life time is limited. If you don't read selectively, you will only see a limited number at the end of your life. It would be a pity to miss many classic books, not to mention Singing those songs on that mountain. After all, if you enter the "education door", you must read "education books". If you don't improve yourself, you won't mislead others' children. Thinking has changed, everything has changed, thinking is the foundation of people, and behavior changes with thinking. After reading the classic works recommended by the new network teacher, my heart sank and I felt unprecedented educational enthusiasm and even passion. Besides reading, I also changed the classroom. I no longer wander outside the classroom, but become a cultivator of the classroom, treating the classroom as a field and working hard. My heart is at ease, and the joy of education has come. Get along better with students and think children are cuter. If you don't meet a new teacher, you won't realize how colorful education is and how happy you are with your children. Maybe you are either in the state of "boiling frogs in warm water" before, or "complaining all day, too busy at work, and now the students are too poor" like individual teachers. If you have problems, you will only criticize and complain, and you can't fundamentally change yourself. Meeting a new teacher is the luck of my life. 3. Crisis coexists, guiding and promoting.
"As long as people are alive, they may fall into crisis at any time." Of course, it also includes students, such as outbreaks, earthquakes and so on. Feel the crisis of life; From primary school to junior high school, the number of courses has increased, and I feel the crisis of learning; Through the monthly exam and the final exam, I feel the performance crisis of "people are outside, and the sky is behind"; "Classes have rules, schools have rules", and the meticulous system makes some students feel the crisis of the system. Seemingly simple students study at school, but it actually contains complexity. Teachers should guide them in time, guide them to the positive side through the crisis, stimulate their internal drive, and make them kind and beautiful. Therefore, on this basis, they should study hard. Reminds me of the origin of the "catfish effect": a long time ago, sardines caught by Norwegians from the deep sea always died before reaching the shore. Fishermen tried countless ways to get sardines ashore alive, but all failed. Later, they put catfish in the sardine trough. Catfish are born to chase sardines, and sardines swim desperately, which stimulates their inner vitality and thus survives. In fact, the sardines mentioned here are because the crisis has stimulated vitality and better survival. Education and enterprise management are interlinked, and the sense of crisis in the "catfish effect" also stimulates students' "inner vitality".
Life is not Ma Pingchuan, only happiness and happiness, you will meet some people and things, and there is always a sense of crisis. Only in this way can we promote our own efforts and constantly improve ourselves. Because of the encounter and crisis, there is inferiority, and because of inferiority, there is transcendence. This is also the similarity between educational anthropology and inferiority and transcendence.
