Fan (1913 ~ 2012.06.23), male, former librarian of Shanghai Literature and History Museum, is a famous contemporary Peking Opera art researcher and educator.

Since the age of 13, Mr. Fan has devoted himself to learning to sing old Peking Opera, and has been carefully taught by senior Peking Opera researcher Su and Jinghu master Chen. Later, because of his obsession with Yu Shuyan, a famous Peking Opera artist, he went to Beijing Liyuan to learn from famous teachers such as Yu Shuyan and Wang Ruizhi. He is also Mr. Mei Lanfang's teacher. Fan is a master of Beijing opera art research in China. The most precious thing is to fill the blank of "anti-Huang Er" format in Yu Shuyan's eighteen and a half records.

At 07: 12 on June 23rd, 2065438, Fan died in Shanghai at the age of 99.
