The autonomous region regards the reform of the senior high school entrance examination as the key task of the reform of the examination enrollment system, plans, deploys and promotes the reform of the college entrance examination as a whole, and promulgated the Implementation Plan for Deepening the Reform of the Examination Enrollment System in Senior High Schools in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (No.9, 2022).

According to the requirements of the document, the League City has formulated the detailed rules for the reform of the enrollment system for junior high school level examinations and senior high school level examinations in the region according to the plan, and strengthened the leadership, organization and supervision of the enrollment work for the examinations. To this end, the Education Bureau of Baotou City has formulated the Implementation Rules for the Reform of Enrollment System of Junior High School Examination and Senior High School Examination in Baotou City.

The reform of the senior high school entrance examination fully adheres to the party's educational policy, implements the fundamental task of educating people, follows the laws of education, and develops quality education;

It is conducive to reducing students' excessive academic burden, promoting students' all-round healthy growth, promoting the quality and balance of compulsory education, promoting the diversification and characteristics of ordinary high schools, and promoting the effective connection between compulsory education, high school education and comprehensive reform of college entrance examination.

According to the detailed implementation rules, the reform of the senior high school entrance examination will be fully implemented from the seventh grade in the fall of 2022 to 2025, forming an enrollment model for the senior high school entrance examination based on the results of the junior high school level examination and the evaluation results of students' comprehensive quality.
