Qindu District, located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, was named after Qin, the first multi-ethnic feudal dynasty in China, established its capital here. It is now the seat of Xianyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and the political, economic and cultural center of Xianyang. Qindu District is located in the middle of the Cenozoic Weihe fault basin. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, and the loess platform in the north is the highest, with an altitude of 527 meters; The Weihe plain in the south is the lowest, with an altitude of 380 meters and a height difference of 1.47 meters. It inclines to the Weihe River in a ladder shape from north to south. The landform is divided into two parts: Loess Plateau and Weihe Plain. The loess plateau has an open front and a deep soil layer, which mainly produces cash crops such as grain and cotton. Weihe plain is flat, fertile and densely covered with wells and canals, which is an economic crop area for vegetables, cotton and oil.
