Tibet aid education is the school's school-running feature. Entrusted by the Ministry of Education, the school has been cultivating high-quality applied talents for Xizang Autonomous Region since its establishment. Over the past 20 years, as the window of Shanghai's intellectual aid to Tibet, the school has successively sent nearly 1,000 outstanding graduates to Tibet, making contributions to safeguarding the reunification of the motherland and strengthening national unity.

The development of the school embodies the cordial care of the central and Shanghai leaders. Central leaders such as Wu Bangguo, Chen Zhili wrote inscriptions and congratulatory letters for the school, and city leaders such as Yin, Wang Anshun, Yang Xiaodu visited the school to guide the work.
