Northwest University was founded in 1902 Shaanxi University Hall and Shi Jing University Hall. 19 12 is called Northwest University. 1923 changed to National Northwest University. 1937, the National Peking University, Beiping Normal University, Beiyang Institute of Technology and Beiping Research Institute, which moved westward to Shaanxi, formed the National xi 'an Temporary University. 1938 was renamed as National Northwest United University, and 1939 was renamed as National Northwest University.
