Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College is located in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time institution of higher learning approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. Organized by Zhuzhou Municipal People's Government and managed by Hunan Provincial Department of Education. Formerly known as Zhuzhou Railway Machinery School, the College was established in 1956, approved by the former Ministry of Railways and headed by Guangzhou Bureau of China Railway. During the period, it was renamed as Zhuzhou Railway Institute to hold undergraduate education on 1958, and then resumed to hold secondary schools due to the adjustment of national departments.
