Expansion: The system of Paris Academy of Fine Arts, also known as Beaux-Arts, is one of the architectural education systems, which was probably formed in the period of Louis XIV (1643- 17 15). Later, the University of Pennsylvania had an important influence on early architectural education in China.
The reign of Louis XIV was the end of the Renaissance. During the Renaissance, a series of artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci greatly promoted architectural design. Because of this, these artists regard the process of architectural design more as the process of artistic creation, so architecture is out of the need of shelter from the wind and rain and becomes the carrier of artists' creation.
