What is a junior college diploma in national education?
Diplomas in national education series and above include all higher education diplomas in national education series in China.

At present, China's national education series of higher education qualifications are divided into four levels: junior college, undergraduate, master and doctor. In terms of academic series, it mainly includes six aspects: junior college, undergraduate course, second bachelor's degree class, postgraduate class (which has been suspended at present), master's students and doctoral students.

In addition, it also includes 1970 to 1976 ordinary classes held by ordinary colleges and universities. There are three kinds of higher education diplomas, namely: general higher education graduation (graduation) certificate, adult higher education graduation (graduation) certificate and higher education self-study examination graduation (graduation) certificate.

The three types of academic certificates are independent ordinary colleges and universities (including ordinary classes in adult colleges and military colleges that provide modern distance education) and adult colleges and universities (namely, radio and television universities, staff universities, farmers colleges, management cadre colleges, education colleges and independent correspondence colleges) approved by the national education administrative department for the record.

Private colleges and universities will distribute it to graduates of higher education they hold and graduates of higher education self-study exams held by social forces.

The state recognizes the academic certificates issued by ordinary institutions of higher learning (including scientific research institutions that train graduate students), adult institutions of higher learning and private schools with academic qualifications approved by the state education authorities.

In addition, through the self-study examination, the self-study examination graduation certificates issued by the self-study examination committees of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) authorized by the the State Council Self-study Examination Committee, the graduation certificates obtained by students enrolled in full-time regular classes run by party schools, adult colleges and military colleges approved by the national education authorities, and the graduation certificates issued by academic diploma examination schools.

Graduation certificates issued by higher education in the form of distance education in ordinary colleges and universities are also recognized by the state in accordance with the Interim Provisions on the Administration of Academic Certificates in Colleges and Universities of the People's Liberation Army of China.
