Able to bear hardships and stand hard work; Responsible, helpful and patient; Simple life, ready to work and live in a strange environment of different cultures for a long time; Cheerful and adaptable, able to adapt to the working and living environment of the sending country as soon as possible; Leadership and management skills are preferred.

Application procedure:

(1) According to the foreign request, Hanban sent volunteers to the education departments (education committees) of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government or universities directly under the Ministry of Education;

(2) The Education Department of a province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government or colleges directly under the Ministry of Education shall organize relevant universities or relevant educational institutions to recruit and select volunteers according to the specific requirements for sending volunteers;

(3) Applicants who meet the application conditions can apply to the above-mentioned units and participate in the selection by downloading the Application Form of China Volunteers as International Chinese Teachers from the Hanban website.
