How do adults apply for veterinary school?
Adults can enroll in veterinary colleges through adult higher education, adult college entrance examination and distance education.

Veterinary self-study generally takes time:

1. The curriculum of the self-taught examination consists of public courses and professional courses, which are the same, but different professional courses are different. It usually takes 2 to 3 years to take the self-taught undergraduate course, and there is no limit on the number of years. Candidates who take the single-subject examination organized by the national examination institutions and pass one subject will be issued with a certificate of conformity. You can only apply for graduation if you have passed all the subjects, and the graduation will be completed soon.

2. There is no time limit for the self-study exam, and candidates can apply according to their own situation. However, in some provinces, the retention period of single subject grades is 8 years, while in some provinces, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Fujian, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Zhejiang, Xinjiang, Guangdong, Hubei and Sichuan, this provision has not been implemented.

3. There is no academic system limit for the self-study exam. In some provinces, the retention period of single subject scores is set to 8 years, and some provinces do not implement the provisions of the 8-year validity period. There is no entrance examination for the self-taught examination, so there is no academic system restriction. Freshmen only need to register for the self-taught exam online and fill in the selected institutions, exam subjects and personal information.

4. Self-taught candidates can't make up the exam at that time, and they can only re-register for reference when they register for the exam next time. For example, candidates who failed the single-subject exam in the first half of the year can only continue to take the exam in the second half of the year, which means that the self-study exam can be repeated until the course is passed.
