Guangdong Education Examinations Institute issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in Taking the College Entrance Examination for Migrant Workers' Children in Guangdong Province in 20 17 years (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), which further clarified the policy details of the college entrance examination in different places next year.
According to the requirements of the Notice, the children who move with them need to meet the four requirements of social insurance, residence permit, legally stable residence and three-year complete student status before they are eligible to take the exam. At the same time, the "Notice" gave a detailed explanation on the related issues of the four requirements, as follows: First, the calculation of social insurance, residence permit and years of schooling completion. In 20 17, the calculation deadline for the social insurance payment period, the validity period of residence permit in Guangdong province and the length of schooling for the children of migrant workers who plan to take the college entrance examination in Guangdong province is 20 17 August 3 1. The second is about applying for a residence permit. Parents of migrant children who plan to take the college entrance examination in Guangdong province in 20 17 have applied for residence permits before September 20 14 1 and their residence permits are valid as of August 3 1 7. The third is about the legal and stable residence. Children who move with them plan to register for the college entrance examination in Guangdong Province on October 7th, 20. If their parents live in self-built houses or dormitories in rural areas, they should provide the house property right certificate or land use right certificate, house lease contract or relevant supporting materials, and go through the residence formalities at the local police station or the agency in charge of rental service management in Zhenjie according to the requirements of the Regulations on Public Security Management of Rental Houses in Guangdong Province. The fourth is about three-year full student status. The children of migrant workers who plan to register for the college entrance examination in Guangdong Province in 20 17 will take the senior high school entrance examination in Guangdong Province, but their parents will complete their three-year high school registration and their parents will work in different cities in Guangdong Province.
The "Notice" makes it clear that candidates who practise fraud or defraud the registration qualification will be disqualified from registering in Guangdong Province, taking the exam or accepting the college entrance examination according to law once verified, and no supplementary reporting procedures will be handled. If serious violations are found or reported in the review and publicity of the accompanying children, the relevant responsible persons will be dealt with according to the law and regulations. The public security organs and relevant departments should thoroughly investigate and resolutely punish other personnel or illegal intermediaries who organize or participate in the organization to forge candidates' qualifications and identities. If the case constitutes a crime, it shall be transferred to judicial organs and investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.
The circular also pointed out that candidates who missed the registration time for the college entrance examination at the registration place should apply to the middle school at the registration place before 20 16 12 15, which will be summarized by the local admissions examination institutions and reported to the Guangdong Provincial Admissions Office before 20 16 12 20.
