Bacon said, "Habit is the master of life." Ye Shengtao, an educator, also said: "Education is to form habits". Primary school students are in an important stage of growth and development, and in a critical period of developing behavior habits. Good habits will benefit them for life. As teachers, they shoulder the important responsibility of guiding and cultivating primary school students to develop good behavior habits. Through practice and research, I think the education of behavior habits of rural primary school students should start from the details of daily life and study.
First of all, start with small things.
Due to the influence of rural living environment and many families' bad living habits, the phenomenon of primary school students littering on campus has been very serious for some time, especially at noon, the school gate is littered with scraps of paper, which seriously affects the cleanliness of the campus, destroys the harmonious atmosphere of the campus and makes teachers have a headache. How to correct students' bad behavior and completely change the messy campus? I carefully analyzed the reasons and decided to start with the shaping of primary school students' own behavior norms. For the first time, the school moral education office issued a proposal that "the school is my home, and care depends on everyone". I hope every student can take school as their home and sign a solemn promise: don't litter in school. A small request and a simple signature is a heavy commitment. At the same time, we should pay attention to daily cleaning and strengthen daily inspection and supervision. After two weeks, the campus environment has changed a lot.
Second, proceed from the facts.
Moral quality is the spiritual aspect of life, which is sometimes difficult to grasp. Our teachers often feel this way, and how many times we have taught it carefully is not good for the students. For primary school students living in wealthy families, the teacher's language is always pale and weak, and such doubts and difficulties make us feel embarrassed. I think our education, especially moral education in primary schools, should get out of this "grandiose and unrealistic" misunderstanding, and must proceed from real life and pay attention to the actual effect of education. For example, how to inspire students' patriotic feelings, tell stories of martyrs' bloodshed and sacrifice, and watch relevant war movies and books seems too far away from children's lives. We organized children to watch the images of China athletes at the Beijing Olympic Games, telling them that raising the national flag again and again, playing the national anthem again and again, and cheering for the people of China again and again shocked their hearts again and again, all of which were patriotic education for themselves. We also tell primary school students that what you can do is not to win glory for your country at once, but to be a good person, study hard, live well, and love your family is patriotism. To this end, the school also specially carried out the activities of "Good boy, do housework". Arrange the group leader to check the students' homework every day. If you find that you have not finished or scribbled on time, you must communicate with the student in time and urge him to correct it. If you don't change your mind after repeated education, you will also inform your parents to supervise together. For students who have made progress, we should always find "bright spots" and praise them. Every Friday afternoon, the team will have a class to summarize the class performance this week and set an example. After long-term efforts, almost all students will correct their behavior. And link it with life practice. Replacing high-profile slogans with practical actions will make the cultivation education pragmatic and effective. Especially the parents of the children, they are even more moved. They think that the way of education in the school is very practical and the children have made great progress.
Third, set an example.
"Learning to be a teacher and be a model" is always the theme of teachers. Teachers in the eyes of primary school students are often sacred, and their behavior often permeates children's words and deeds. Therefore, teachers should not only educate students with love, but also influence students with their own personality charm, so that students can be influenced and educated in a subtle way. In the future, our school launched a "bend over" activity, requiring students to pick up scraps of paper and garbage when they see them. Put it in the trash can near the campus, and school leaders and teachers will set an example. When students see leaders and teachers bending down to pick up garbage in person, students can follow suit, and teachers and classmates will participate in each cleaning. In this way, students' behavior habit of not littering is cultivated, which lays a good foundation for purifying the campus environment.
Fourth, take activities as the carrier.
"Close to reality, close to life and close to minors" is the principle that our primary school students should follow in ideological education. Pupils mainly think in images and love activities. The school organizes a number of collective activities, mobilizes students to participate, and cultivates a sense of caring for the collective, unity and cooperation and collective honor in the activities, which is conducive to the cultivation of good behavior norms. For example, organize all classes to participate in various forms of collective activities, such as "the voice of gratitude, the song of the war of resistance against Japan", the grade track and field relay race, the school sports meeting, the class story competition, and the homework exhibition and evaluation in winter and summer vacations. Through simple activity carriers, vivid and popular language, vivid and typical stories and favorite forms, it is more attractive and infectious for students to participate, and education has played a good role.
Five, from the subtle evaluation
Behavior habits should be implemented in the details of life, and developing good habits is to do a good job in small places in life and study. In recent years, due to the adjustment of the layout of rural primary schools where I live, the merger of primary and secondary schools, and the establishment of sand industrial park, a large number of foreign students have transferred in, and the quality of students is mixed. In order to facilitate the daily standardized management of the school and the education of students' behavior habits in peacetime, our school has formulated the rules of daily work and rest and the rules of developing pupils' behavior habits. We believe that in the cultivation of good habits of primary school students, we should focus on four aspects: learning to be a man, learning to live, learning to learn and learning to cooperate, and further refine the four aspects one by one. For example, the key training point of "civilized etiquette" is: 1. Seriously participate in the flag-raising ceremony; 2. Unite classmates, don't fight, don't swear; Do not swear; 3. Respect the teacher and greet the teacher on his own initiative; 4. Respect elders and learn to take care of and thank relatives; 5. Be able to use civilized language; 6. Do not chase and fight in classrooms and corridors; 7. Take an active part in activities and watch games or performances in a civilized and orderly manner. The school brigade department carries out discipline and etiquette inspection, health inspection, two exercises inspection and civilized supervision every day. The brigade cadres inspect and evaluate the routine situation of all classes in the school according to the detailed rules, and encourage all classes to strive for "civilized classes". The head teacher deepens the daily management of the class according to the detailed rules and requirements, and urges the pupils to develop good behavior habits.
More than 20 years' work as a class teacher has made me realize that students' good behavior habits can't be formed in a day or two, and students' behaviors will be repeated. Only by insisting on starting from small things, starting from facts, setting an example, taking colorful activities as the carrier, and persisting, I believe that with the joint efforts of teachers and students, students' good behavior habits will be gradually developed.
