Qiandongnan Cultural Relics Development Center is a public welfare first-class institution. Its predecessor was Qiandongnan Cultural Relics Team, which was established in 1984. It is affiliated to the Qiandongnan Culture and Tourism Bureau, and is a fully funded institution at the official level. From June 5438 to October 2020 10, according to the organizational reform plan of Qiandongnan Prefecture, the sports work responsibilities undertaken by Qiandongnan Prefecture Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television Press and Publication Bureau (Qiandongnan Prefecture Copyright Bureau) were assigned to Qiandongnan Prefecture Education, Science and Technology Bureau, and the tourism work responsibilities undertaken by Qiandongnan Prefecture Culture and Tourism Bureau (Qiandongnan Prefecture Cultural Relics Bureau) were assigned to Qiandongnan Prefecture Cultural Tourism Transportation Construction Group Co., Ltd. Qiandongnan Cultural Tourism Bureau (Qiandongnan Cultural Relics Team will be adjusted to Qiandongnan Cultural Relics Development Center, which is a public welfare institution managed by Qiandongnan Cultural Tourism Transportation Construction Group Co., Ltd., and is not included in the establishment of institutions.
