Pinglu County, formerly known as Wenshang County, was called Zhongdu in ancient times. It has a long history and rich cultural heritage, and is a famous Buddhist holy land. The Prince Lingta in the northwest corner of the county seat was built in the Song Dynasty, with a magnificent momentum. 1March, 1994, found in the tower 14 1 relic. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties in the Three Kingdoms, this county belonged to Dongping Lu County, and Dongping County (county) was in Yanzhou. During the Southern Dynasties, it was renamed Pinglu County and Leping County. It was also called Pinglu County.
