The enrollment targets are school-age disabled children and adolescents who have reached the age of 6 (born before August 3 14) and qualified primary school graduates in this city.
1. Hearing impairment: schooling 12 years; In addition, students who graduated from special education schools in counties (cities, districts) of our city in primary school are enrolled, with the age of 14- 16.
Enrollment plan: primary school 1 class 12 students, junior high school 1 class 12 students.
2. Visual impairment: 9 years of school education.
Enrollment plan: primary school/class 1 0 students, junior high school 1 class 10 students.
3. Mental retardation: The enrollment targets are school-age children with mental retardation identified by Raven Intelligence Scale and Adaptive Behavior Scale. The school system is 6 years (primary school). After graduating from primary school, students with mental retardation can continue to receive junior high school education after professional evaluation, and can continue to enter junior high school and receive junior high school education for three years.
Enrollment plan: 20 students in 2 classes in primary school.
Students need to take care of themselves and adapt to school life. Parents of hearing-impaired and visually-impaired freshmen in the nine-year compulsory education stage need to accompany them 1-3 months. First-year students with mental retardation need to be picked up in the morning and evening, accompanied by their parents.
