Cody Middle School is a full-time private school. In order to strengthen the school construction, the Education Bureau changed its name to the Joint Experimental School of the Middle School Attached to the National People's Congress and the Primary School Attached to Peking University, which is quite influential.

The school won the "National Advanced School of Ideological and Moral Construction in Primary and Secondary Schools".
