In winter, the outdoor temperature is low, and people like to close doors and windows, so the "invisible killer" of carbon monoxide will lurk around people. Poor air circulation is an important factor causing carbon monoxide poisoning.
What is carbon monoxide poisoning:
Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless toxic gas. If the content of carbon monoxide in the air exceeds the standard, it can poison people, quickly cause coma and endanger life safety.
Precautions:
1. Pay attention to ventilation. When heating equipment such as coal stove and charcoal fire is used indoors, doors and windows should not be completely sealed with plastic film, and a certain gap should be left to make indoor air circulate and avoid carbon monoxide accumulation. Ventilate the doors and windows frequently to keep the indoor air fresh.
2. Choose a regular heating tool. Heating tools prohibited by the state from being produced and sold shall not be used.
3. Check regularly. Install and use the heating equipment correctly, install the water heater in an outdoor ventilated place as far as possible, don't close the bathroom doors and windows when taking a shower, and don't take a long shower.
4. Stay away from dangerous goods. Heating equipment should be far away from flammable, explosive and volatile toxic substances.
Air conditioning:
The service life of general household air conditioners is 8 to 10 years, and it takes a long time. It is recommended to update in time to avoid the safety problems caused by aging of various components.
If you don't use the air conditioner for a long time, please unplug it. Plugs, sockets and air-conditioning switches should be checked regularly by professionals. In order to avoid screw loosening, short circuit and other causes of fire.
Don't connect the air conditioning power cord too long, so as to avoid poor contact and sparks caused by unprofessional wiring.
Electric blanket:
Electric blankets must be laid flat under sheets or thin mattresses and must not be folded for use.
Do not keep heating for a long time. If the temperature continues to rise, the cotton cloth of the electric blanket may carbonize and catch fire.
The average service life of electric blanket is about 5 years. If it is used beyond this time, it may age and crack, causing safety accidents.
Hand warmers:
Electric heaters are most afraid of water leakage. Make sure that the socket is dry before electrifying.
Never hold the electric heater in your arms to charge it to prevent electric shock.
When the bag expands slightly, cut off the power supply first, and then unplug the bag.
Acupuncture and heavy pressure are strictly prohibited to prevent leakage of liquid, resulting in electric leakage.
