Generally speaking, there is a big gap between ideal and reality. Some people used to think that reality is cruel and unchangeable and must be adapted unconditionally, so they can only give up their ideals and accommodate reality. But I don't think so. My understanding is that accepting reality, adapting to reality and integrating into reality is not giving up ideals. If the ideal is realized in reality, it shows that the ideal conforms to the objective law of reality; Ideals cannot be realized in reality, which shows that ideals are divorced from reality and are castles in the air. Therefore, we should adjust the content of ideals and goals to make ideals conform to social reality. It is normal that there is a conflict between ideal and reality. Once there is conflict, we will not give up our ideals. As a positive person, we can only adjust the contradiction between ideal and reality and make our ideal conform to reality. The behavior of our social practice is a transformation process of constantly improving the contradiction between ideal and reality. Therefore, ideals must be established, and some contents of ideals and goals should be gradually adhered to and discarded in practice to correct the gap between ideals and reality. Finally realize your ideal in reality! First, correctly understand the relationship between ideal and reality. The realization of the ideal of life is to turn the ideal from concept into reality. Therefore, to realize the ideal of life, we must correctly understand the relationship between ideal and reality and create conditions for the transformation from ideal to reality. (1) Dialectical relationship between ideal and reality The dialectical relationship between ideal and reality is as follows: First, ideal and reality are a pair of contradictions, and their relationship is both antagonistic and unified. Second, the ideal comes from reality and is a reflection of reality, but it is not equal to reality, but a sublimation of reality. The ideal material comes from reality, the ideal possibility comes from reality, and the ideal power also comes from reality. In a word, "ideal can only be a reflection of reality." Third, the ideal is higher than reality, which is the sublimation of reality, but it is not divorced from reality, and it is bound to be connected with reality. Ideal is the reality of the future, and reality is the foundation of ideal. But the ideal is not reality after all. What people pursue in their ideals does not exist or does not exist completely in reality. Ideals are always beautiful, but there are also beautiful and ugly sides in reality. This difference between ideal and reality will inevitably lead to opposition and conflict between ideal and reality. If the conflict between ideal and reality exceeds people's psychological endurance, they will doubt their own strength, shake their ideals and fall into a state of depression and hesitation. Fourth, under certain conditions, ideals can be turned into reality, and when the old ideals are realized, the new ideals will inspire and inspire people. When the ideal is transformed into reality, the process of producing the ideal from reality will be endless, and mankind will continue to develop and progress. However, the transformation of ideal into reality is conditional and a hard practical process, which requires people to forge ahead wholeheartedly. To solve the contradiction between ideal and reality, and to turn the realistic ideal into reality, we must grasp the scientific nature of ideal, and establish the ideal of life that conforms to the objective law of social development on the basis of a correct understanding of social reality. To understand society correctly, we must fully understand society. We should not only understand the disadvantages of society, but also understand the bright future of social development. Facing the contradiction and conflict between ideal and reality, it is not advisable to give up or lower ideal, which can only make people negative and mediocre, and is not a promising choice for young people. Only by adhering to lofty ideals and changing reality to make reality develop in the ideal direction is the correct way to solve the contradiction between ideal and reality. (2) Strive to get out of the ideal misunderstanding 1. Get out of the misunderstanding of "Slim Theory". On the understanding of social and political ideals, the "slim theory" holds that communism has not been tested by practice, which is an unattainable good wish and a slim fantasy. There are three main reasons for this misunderstanding: First, the scientific meaning of communism is not accurately grasped. The meaning of communism includes three aspects: first, it refers to the scientific theory and ideological system about communism; Second, it refers to the social system revealed by communist scientific theory; Third, it refers to the realistic movement under the guidance of communist scientific theory, that is, communist practice, with the establishment of a communist system as the highest goal. The theory and practice of communism has a history of 150 years since it came into being, and it has a history of more than 80 years in China. Our ongoing socialist modernization is a part of the communist movement with the realization of the communist social system as the highest goal under the guidance of scientific communist theory. Second, there is a lack of correct understanding of the long-term and arduous nature of realizing the communist social system, and it is faltering. When we encounter setbacks, we will waver, doubt and lose confidence. Third, from a personal point of view, I think that I am "invisible and intangible" and doubt the historical inevitability of communism. Human life is limited, and the ideal social system of communism needs the efforts of several generations, even dozens of generations. But we can't deny the possibility of realizing the communist social system and give up the pursuit of communist ideals. 2. Get out of the misunderstanding of "skepticism". People who hold the view of "skepticism" have all kinds of doubts about propagating communist ideals in the primary stage of socialism. Undoubtedly, ideal education should pay attention to hierarchy, consider the actual situation in the primary stage of socialism and the people's ideological consciousness level, and mobilize, unite and unite the broad masses of the people with common ideals. However, all this does not contradict the propaganda of communist ideals. Since communism is a scientific truth, since our party publicized the communist ideal during the democratic revolution, today we have entered a socialist society, why can't we publicize it? Moreover, the ideal itself is advanced. Marx put forward the ideal of communism in Europe in the 1940s when capitalism was dominant. The great communist fighter Lei Feng was born in China in the 1960s when material conditions and productivity were underdeveloped. Facts have proved that the generation and dissemination of ideals can not only be higher than the social relations at a certain stage, but also higher than the social and political system at a certain stage, and can also be higher than the ideological level of most people at a certain stage. If we deny this transcendence and stick to reality completely, we can't have communist ideals. We can only give up the propaganda of communist ideals, and people will lose their long-term, fundamental and clear goals. Deng Xiaoping emphatically pointed out: "We are carrying out economic reform now, and we still have to adhere to the socialist road and strengthen the lofty ideal of communism, especially for the younger generation." 3. Get out of the misunderstanding of the theory of material interests. On the attitude towards the ideal of life, the "theory of material interests" holds that the development of market economy is "all money-oriented". Talking about ideals is too empty to solve practical problems. It is better to talk about "material benefits" and think about what "ideals" are beneficial; Future, future, money is on the map. The mistake of "material benefit theory" is manifested in the pursuit of ideal personality, which is often to give up or despise ideological and moral elements and unilaterally pursue the ideal personality with talent and practical ability; In the career ideal, it is often a serious utilitarian tendency, overemphasizing personal needs when choosing a job, blindly pursuing a career that can not only earn more money, but also work easily; In the ideal of life, they are often obsessed with money worship, only pursue immediate material enjoyment, and admire and imitate the high-consumption lifestyle of "big money". This "material interest theory" has a great market among college students, which seriously affects their pursuit of lofty social ideals. It must be pointed out that communist party people should never talk about ideals without material interests, but pursue ideals for human beings to enjoy higher material and spiritual civilization. If we only talk about the immediate "interests" and forget the pursuit of lofty ideals in life, then there is no hope for the country and the nation. (3) Correctly treating the contradiction between ideal and reality Because of the complexity of real life, people will feel the contradiction between ideal and reality in the process of establishing and pursuing ideal. Especially when young college students just step into the society, this feeling is often more intense, leading to ideological confusion and emotional fluctuations. There are still some one-sided and vague views and some misunderstandings on the ideal issue. So we should treat this contradiction correctly. 1. Get out of the misunderstanding of "denying reality with ideals". In social life, when people feel the contradiction between ideal and reality, they set them up because they can't see the unity of the two. One tendency is to deny reality with ideals. Some people use ideal standards to measure and demand reality, and when they find that reality does not meet the ideal, they are disappointed or even extremely dissatisfied with reality. If this development continues, it may lead to a completely negative attitude towards social reality and escape or oppose the real society. As early as the 1950s, Mao Zedong warned people: "Don't be superstitious and think that everything is fine in socialist countries." "In our society, there must be good and bad, good and bad, advanced and backward. It is precisely because of this that we have to carry out transformation and turn bad things into good things. "Needless to say, there are many ugly phenomena such as negative corruption in China, which cannot be ignored. But at the same time, we should realize that the mainstream of social life is good. Since the reform and opening up, China's social economy and various undertakings have flourished, and people's living standards have been greatly improved, which can be said to be the best period since the founding of New China. Due to the complexity of social life, in the process of reform and opening up and the development of socialist market economy, there have also been ugly phenomena such as negative corruption. But these are not the main aspects of life after all. How can you be dissatisfied with the socialist society or lose confidence because you see these things? Moreover, these ugly phenomena such as negative corruption are exactly what socialist society should strive to overcome. We must fight against these phenomena, and we must not escape from reality, let alone vent our resentment against these things on the party, the country and the people. A person who really has ideals should dialectically look at the relationship between ideals and reality and be a realist with ideals. 2. Get out of the misunderstanding of "denying ideals with reality". In the misunderstanding of opposing ideal and reality, there is also a bias, that is, denying ideal with reality. When they find the contradiction between ideal and reality, they completely agree with the present reality without analysis, and they are not angry, not fighting or even echoing some negative or even ugly phenomena in reality. Some students hate the ugly phenomenon in society when they first start to go to society, but after a long time, they don't think so, and even engage in corruption and lose their ideals. Others, seeing the contradiction between ideal and reality, bid farewell to ideal and sublime, are keen on "material interests", fall into the quagmire of money worship, hedonism and extreme individualism, and lose confidence and enthusiasm for ideal. The reason for these misunderstandings is that we can't treat and deal with the contradiction between ideal and reality dialectically. Ideal and reality are originally a pair of contradictions, which is the relationship of unity of opposites. On the one hand, they are opposites, for example, ideals are subjective and reality is objective; Ideal is perfect, reality is flawed; Ideal is the future, reality is the present, and so on. On the other hand, they are unified. In reality, the ideal is conceived and formed, which contains the conditions and factors for the realization of the ideal. Ideal comes from reality and contains realistic factors, and the future will become a new reality. Therefore, we should not only see the conflict between ideal and reality, but also see their consistency. Only in this way can we fully grasp the relationship between the two, and we will not have biased ideological understanding and attitude because of this contradiction in reality.
