Responsibilities of Zhengzhou Education Bureau:

(six) overall planning, coordination and guidance of all kinds of schools in the city's education system, school-running system and school internal management system reform, coordinate the internal and external relations of education, and gradually establish an education system and its operating mechanism to meet the needs of the socialist market economic system and social development.

(seven) the overall management of the department of education funds; Participate in the formulation of policies and measures to raise education funds through multiple channels, such as education funding and education infrastructure investment; Supervise and manage the use of extra-budgetary funds for education expenses and education departments; According to the relevant regulations at home and abroad, manage the education assistance and loans in our city.

(eight) in charge of the work of teachers in the city. Responsible for teacher qualification management; Responsible for the city's teacher education and training, continuing education and other business training; Responsible for the recognition and reward of the education system, and guide the reform of the internal personnel and distribution system in schools at all levels.

(nine) in conjunction with the relevant departments to review the establishment, renaming, cancellation and adjustment of municipal schools; In accordance with the relevant provisions, cooperate with the relevant departments to put forward the standards for the establishment of schools at all levels.

(ten) in conjunction with the relevant departments to develop municipal institutions of higher learning, secondary specialized schools, vocational schools, normal schools, primary and secondary schools enrollment guidance plan and organize their implementation; Formulate policies for the reform of the employment system for graduates of normal universities and be responsible for the employment services for graduates of normal universities.

(eleven) responsible for the education system management, teaching, scientific research and information construction, coordination and guidance of municipal universities to undertake the implementation of relevant scientific research projects.

(twelve) to manage the foreign affairs of the education system and be responsible for educational exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

(thirteen) administrative organs are institutions and enterprises; To guide and implement the principles and policies of the national language and writing work, and to guide the promotion of Putonghua in the whole city; To guide the organization of educational societies, associations, foundations and other societies.
