Mencius is not only a far-reaching thinker, but also an outstanding educator. He attaches great importance to and loves education and regards it as one of the "three pleasures" of a gentleman. At the same time, he also recruited a large number of students, that is, while engaging in political activities, he taught and apprenticed. At this point, he is no different from Confucius. In fact, like Confucius, he regards the realization of political ideals as the fundamental purpose of education, that is, the so-called "learning Tao", and regards benevolence and righteousness as the core content of education.
