Father's education for his daughter
The following is my summary of my daughter's education, which I share with you. I hope it will be useful to you (my daughter is in the fourth grade this year):

Case 1: Establish the consciousness of autonomous learning.

In daily life, we will always remind Chineydy that all studies are for herself, and we will gradually make her accept and understand through some methods.

On the one hand, I often chat with her: as long as I find a topic, I will communicate with Chineydy at any time, at the dinner table, on the way to the interest class and while watching TV. The main content of the conversation focused on helping her analyze recent events, her grades, the right and wrong of some of her habits, good and bad, the impact on her future and study, the possible harm or benefit to her, and so on. Maybe it's a long habit. Every time she talks to Chineydy, she listens carefully and talks about her thoughts from time to time. On the other hand, I often tell her some inspirational stories: mainly reading some inspirational books borrowed from the library. Let her know "love" and "gratitude". What I remember most clearly is that when I read an inspirational story "The Last Leaf" to her, she was deeply moved by Bello's story of painting an ivy leaf with his loving heart. This story made Johnsy see hope from despair and rekindled the flame of Johnsy's life, but she was moved by her story of falling and withering. Chineydy listened to something and said, "I am so moved that I can't sleep." While feeling a little funny, I also realized that children's small hearts can also be infected.

Secondly, we can find the contrast from our life: for example, we will ask our relatives and friends' brothers and sisters to tell her that they didn't study hard before, but they haven't realized their ideals yet, or they insisted on learning piano or dance because they didn't listen to their parents' words. Now it's too late to learn but regret it. She is more able to listen and believe what her older brothers and sisters say. On the other hand, when I see similar reports on TV, the Internet and newspapers, I will show them to her in time to let her know that they are true and that it is not mom and dad who made up the reasons for her.

Through these efforts, the child has gradually understood and understood that learning is for herself. Therefore, she is more active in learning, and there are not so many places that need to be supervised by her mother and me, and it is not so laborious.

Case 2: Cultivation of study habits

Since Chineydy went to primary school, we have paid special attention to the cultivation of her homework and learning attitude. At home, we will always emphasize to her that we can accommodate her and make some concessions to her in life and play. However, in learning, it must be completed according to the teacher's requirements and time schedule, and there is no room for discussion.

She checks her homework every day before she lets us check it. If Xingyu can check out the mistakes in the middle by himself before we check, we will give a reward. On the contrary, if we detect mistakes, we will be punished according to the prior agreement. If neither she nor we check out the mistakes, we will encourage and praise her and hope that she will make persistent efforts. At the same time, it will reassure her that if the mistakes we find are problems that she really can't solve, we will explain them to her and won't punish her.

After a long time, children will develop a good habit of checking homework. It is conceivable that the homework will be handed over to the teacher for correction the next day, and the red tick marks are all on it. The children must be very happy. Test papers are no exception. She will carefully check every exam. If she can find any mistakes, she will be happy to report them at home and we will praise her in time. After a long time, a virtuous circle naturally forms. She is willing to study hard and keep her grades in a good state.

What impressed me the most was the mid-term and final exams of grade two last semester. During the mid-term exam, the day after the exam, Chineydy came home and told us excitedly that she had found a mistake in the math paper, so we led her and said, "This must be because you usually check your homework and papers more often." She agreed and said, "Yes!" As a result, in this exam, she got 99 points in math. Although she didn't get 100, we encouraged her to say, "Look, check it carefully, otherwise she can only get 98 points?" "Well, I will definitely check the final exam again." Soon, the final exam came. I remember that day, when I came home, my daughter said to me, "Dad, I checked my math paper five times. I checked it with a ruler. I'm afraid I read it wrong. " I immediately praised her and asked her if she had checked the other papers carefully. She said that everything had been carefully checked. Sure enough, Chineydy got full marks in all three courses this time.

Adhere to the principle that we are parents first, then children.

Case 3: Cultivate children's patience

On the one hand, it is to play with children: playing with children means playing some puzzles with her to improve patience and psychological quality. These games are generally time-consuming, and many times children will be found to be "ignorant" and full of mistakes. At these times, we need to play with her patiently and hone her from "playing".

On the other hand, it is to accompany children to study: be patient with children's study. I remember once, when Chineydy was doing her math homework, the last additional problem was really difficult, and she couldn't work it out. While encouraging her, I explained to her step by step my ideas and steps to solve this problem. Maybe the topic is really too difficult for her at present, or maybe my thinking of solving the problem is not clear enough. After listening to it again, she was still at a loss and didn't understand it at all. In this way, I explained it to her twice in a row, while writing it to her step by step on the whiteboard at home. However, she still said that she didn't learn well. In my heart, I feel anxious and a little angry, and I am constantly growing. Many times, we will find that things that children make mistakes or don't understand are very simple to us, but when we tell her two or three times, she still can't remember or don't understand, and many parents will get angry with their children. So I keep reminding myself from the bottom of my heart that the more impatient you are, the more you criticize your child, the slower she accepts or the subconscious doesn't accept what you say at all. In this way, I told her for the seventh time, and she said happily, "Dad, I get it." At this time, I was secretly relieved.

Because of my patience, at home, Chineydy is very willing to let me check her homework and explain the problems. Is also driven by their own practice, slowly let Chineydy really calm down when doing things.

Case 3: the motivation of reading

Friends around me and parents of some classmates always think that Chineydy is a little girl who loves reading. I remember that before Chineydy lived on campus, he would sit in bed and read for more than half an hour every night after finishing his homework and going to bed. This habit began six months after she went to primary school.

Before Chineydy got used to reading books by herself, every night, I would insist on reading all kinds of story books to her until she fell asleep. Sometimes, when I am busy with work, I am really tired. When I want to rest that day, the child will beg you, read some to her, look at her eager eyes, and I will persist no matter how tired I am. I remember a time when I was really busy at work. In order to read to her continuously, I bought a recording pen. I read two or three chapters in the conference room at noon every day (at that time, I was reading "Yang Jiajiang" to my child), recorded it, and went back at night to play it to her while she was sleeping, so that I could do my own work. In this way, under this insistence, unconsciously, children have developed a good habit of reading. Until now, I still have a full set of audio files of Yang Jiajiang.
