Reflections on entering the teaching profession for the first time
I started my internship on August 20 17. Being a teacher is my first career in my life. I have been in the business for half a year, and now I finally choose to leave. I want to say something about my feelings.

Four years in college, I didn't consciously learn any unique skills. As an English major, my idea of choosing to be an English teacher in an educational institution is that I can at least say a few words in the crowd.

But in fact, I don't want to be a teacher all my life, at least before I graduate from college. Let's take a look at my substitute teacher and head teacher from primary school to university. Every day in class, I tell books by the book, and I never find it interesting, so I infer that being a teacher must be boring, so teachers are also boring. Second, I feel that my knowledge is not enough to teach students and I can't stand the pressure.

But in order not to go home and pay the rent, I chose the teacher.

At first, I worked as a teaching assistant in the organization. It is very easy to be a teaching assistant every day. I get off work on time every day. Help typesetting at work and occasionally fish. After a while, I felt that I couldn't learn anything, so I switched to a teacher's post. A week after I became a full member, I suddenly got busy. I have to attend classes for 8 or 9 hours every day. Every day, I have to eat and sleep to prepare lessons and lecture. Then I didn't even have time to eat and sleep. I stayed up until four or five in the morning, slept for two hours and got up for work. A month later, my physical condition began to decline. During this time, I had the idea of resigning countless times, but it was digested by myself. The reason for persistence is nothing more than to prove yourself, and it will be easy to get through it.

But in fact, teachers in educational institutions, especially new teachers, have no time to relax. Because students can't stop, they should constantly learn new knowledge and think about how to design classroom content. In addition, there will be unexpected teaching and research tasks. As a person who can't do things half-heartedly, it's really stressful.

After teaching for a period of time, I found that my classroom content was very poor. Although I have some knowledge points to talk about, I can only follow the book, which has an effect that I hate very much: boredom. Students don't listen, and I have no patience to continue. So how can we change this situation? Only by constantly collecting knowledge and looking for inspiration can I talk about a knowledge point casually, and I can also talk about a bunch of extracurricular things. But there is no time at all, so it is impossible to achieve what I want in a short time or even a year.

Then the system of our company is not perfect. As a full-time teacher, you should not only give lectures, but also do big and small things. Although these things are small, they take up a lot of time. The most important thing is that the pay and return are not equal. Managers don't do it from teachers, so they don't understand the cost of teachers' lectures. This leads to squeezing: the pay is not proportional to the return. I have worked hard for eighty or ninety classes a month. As a result, the basic salary includes 50 classes, the basic salary is less than 3000, and one class is 60 yuan. If you count the teacher's grade upgrade, the class fee for half a year will increase by 5 yuan. In other words, for the same class hours, part-time teachers can get eight or nine thousand yuan a month, while full-time teachers can get four or five thousand yuan even with lectures and teaching and research. This huge psychological gap made me decide to leave my job.

Now I don't think a teacher is a boring post. Instead, I am busy crying my parents every day. Teachers' profession requires a lot of teachers themselves. They should not only have the ability to deal with emergencies, but also have emotional intelligence and IQ. In addition to excellent professional knowledge, it should also be broad in knowledge and interesting. One more thing: they should have strong learning ability. If you feel confident, you should work hard and be a part-time teacher.
