The School of Education of Beijing Sport University has a long history and is the earliest department established in our school. Its predecessor can be traced back to 19 17. It was founded by Beijing Normal University and is one of the earliest physical education departments in modern China. 1952 The Department of Physical Education and Health of Beijing Normal University was transferred to the Central Institute of Physical Education under construction. These students became the first batch of students in the College of Education after the establishment of our school 1953. The College of Education was renamed as the Department of Physical Education from 1953 at the beginning of its establishment, to 1990, and then to the College of Education in 2002. Its development process itself witnessed the historical glory of higher physical education in New China. The college has 8 teaching and research sections and 3 research centers, namely: basketball teaching and research section, volleyball teaching and research section, football teaching and research section, table tennis teaching and research section, tennis teaching and research section, small ball teaching and research section, gymnastics teaching and research section and physical education teaching and research section; School Sports Research Center, National Fitness Research Center, China Disabled Sports Research Center of Beijing Sport University. There are 92 faculty members in the College of Education, including 22 professors and 26 associate professors. There are 0/6 doctoral supervisors/kloc-and 38 master supervisors. In recent five years, teachers in our college have won 2 national teaching achievement awards, 3 Beijing teaching achievement awards and 12 school-level teaching achievement awards. 2 Beijing famous teacher. The Volleyball Teaching and Research Section was rated as Beijing Teaching Team and National Teaching Team. 1 National Excellent Course; 2 Beijing-level excellent courses; Four excellent courses at the school level. There are three excellent textbooks in Beijing. There are 2 major projects of the National Social Science Fund, 2 national scientific research projects 10, and 52 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. The college has a major in physical education, which cultivates compound talents with modern educational concepts, solid basic theoretical knowledge of physical education, good scientific literacy, professional ethics, innovative spirit and practical ability, and can engage in physical education teaching, after-school physical exercise, school physical training and competition in various schools at all levels, and undertake sports scientific research and sports management. At present, there are nearly 3000 students studying. 2012,31China university undergraduate major, physical education continues to be the first. In 2008, the physical education major was rated as "Beijing Specialty" and approved as "National Specialty" by the Ministry of Education. Since its establishment, the Institute of Education has trained a large number of outstanding sports talents and made indelible contributions to the development of sports in China, especially the development of higher physical education. In the "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project" universities under state key construction, more than 80% of the backbone and leading figures in the field of sports are graduates of our college. Among the six national physical education teachers in China, including Sun Qilin from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Mao Zhenming from Beijing Normal University and Liu Jian from Yunnan Normal University, all graduated from our college. Among the "Top Ten Young PE Teachers in China", four teachers are friends of our college. The College of Education has abundant teachers, outstanding scientific research achievements, good students' quality, strict teaching management and colorful after-school cultural life. At present, efforts are being made to adapt to social needs, gradually intensify reforms, improve self-construction, improve the quality of education, actively strengthen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, expand influence and popularity at home and abroad, and show great development potential, which will surely create a new situation in discipline construction and elite talent training.
