The development of social science needs to integrate social science resources, tap the scientific research strength of colleges and universities, build a large social science platform, and guide and encourage people in higher education to talk about the national economy and people's livelihood independently and freely on this platform. This will surely lead the social science cause of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications to develop in a brand-new attitude and way. The Department of Social Sciences of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications has established a school-level social science association according to the requirement of "Conditional colleges and universities should establish social science associations", combined with the construction of social science academic groups and the development of social sciences in our school, through telephone research and experience learning in Guangdong, Guangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Sichuan and other universities, in order to better carry out social science association activities in our school. At present, the work of social science association in colleges and universities in Guangxi, Guangdong, Shandong, Zhejiang, Anhui, Sichuan and Liaoning provinces is in full swing, which has played a positive role in promoting the prosperity of social science work in colleges and universities. As a social organization, the College Social Science Association can effectively provide services, support and help for scholars and experts engaged in social sciences. At the same time, as the home of philosophy and social science workers in colleges and universities, it has strengthened the connection between the provincial social science association and philosophy and social science workers in colleges and universities. In order to give full play to the important role of philosophy and social science workers in the prosperity and development of philosophy and social science in colleges and universities, colleges and universities with conditions should set up social science associations. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, around the strategic idea of "one body with two wings" of the school, under the "correct leadership" of the school party and government, and closely combined with the characteristics of the school, the research on humanities and social sciences has achieved a rapid start, and many breakthroughs have been achieved in platform construction, project level and achievement award. At present, there are five provincial research platforms for philosophy and social sciences in our university (including 1 cultivation point). There is a university-level collaborative innovation center for liberal arts, which condenses characteristics and concise direction, and has established a number of university-level scientific research institutions. The number of liberal arts platforms at all levels in the school has reached 18, forming a relatively complete platform system from the provincial level to the university level. Approved the first batch of outstanding innovation teams in philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu Province, and the scientific research platform and team construction of liberal arts in our school have begun to take shape, providing basic support for scientific research in our school. The number and level of social science projects started rapidly and improved continuously. During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, 397 vertical projects of all levels and types were obtained, including 2 1 from the National Social Science Fund and 38 from the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fund of the Ministry of Education.
