Overview of pedagogy

The object and task of pedagogy

Pedagogy is a discipline that studies educational phenomena and problems.

1. Education is a regular activity system. Educational law is the essential relationship between various factors in education and between education and other things, and it is the inevitable trend of educational development and change.

2. The task of pedagogy is to reveal all kinds of verifiable and logical factual laws of education (including macro and micro) according to the structural level of education, and to clarify the principles, methods and organizational forms of educational work on the basis of revealing educational laws, so as to provide theoretical and methodological basis for educators. In this sense, pedagogy is a science that reveals the laws of education through the study of educational phenomena and problems.

3. Education is also a value-oriented activity system. When people construct and participate in educational activities, they will consciously or unconsciously take their own understanding and attitude towards life and their choice and pursuit of life significance and social ideals as the starting point, form educational values, and lead and standardize people's development and education. Therefore, pedagogy, which takes education as the research object, is also a subject to explore the value or state of education. There are many schools of pedagogy, which are caused by different methodological positions and educational values.

4. The focus of pedagogy research is often to discuss the concrete unity of various possibilities and value choices, reality and what should be, objective laws and people's subjective and active creation of history.

Education is an art, and educators have their own experiences, experiences, life experiences and educational styles. Educated people are also living people in society. They not only have the realistic foundation, subjective will and current mentality in educational activities, but also have the process of growing up through self-construction and self-efforts. In this way, educational activities are full of spirituality, emotion and free creation. In this sense, it can also be said that education is an art.
