Sweden is one of the first countries in the world to offer sex education courses. Starting from 1942, sex education is given to children over 7 years old. Teachers adopted heuristic, participatory and game-based teaching methods. The content is to teach pregnancy and childbirth knowledge in primary schools, physiology and body function knowledge in middle schools, and love, contraception and interpersonal relationships in universities.
