Beijing Film Academy is an undergraduate, but it also has higher vocational enrollment. Most of them are undergraduate majors.

Beijing Film Academy is the largest and world-famous film academy in Asia. It is also an art college supported by Beijing Municipal Administration, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and Ministry of Education. Known as "the cradle of film talents in China".

The predecessor of Beijing Film Academy was the Performing Arts Research Institute of the Central Film Bureau founded by 1950. 195 1, the college was renamed the Film Academy of the Film Bureau of the Central Ministry of Culture, 1953, renamed the Beijing Film Academy, 1956, and restructured into the Beijing Film Academy.

Beijing Film Academy covers an area of 105 mu.
