The National Informatization Computer Education Certification (CEAC) project was approved by the Ministry of Information Industry and the former National Informatization Promotion Office in 2002. According to international norms and information technology training standards, the project designs and introduces skilled personnel training and solutions that meet the job requirements of our government, enterprises and industries. At present, 35 courses and nearly 20 special technical certifications on advanced management, technical management and technical application have been launched nationwide, and training certification cooperation has been carried out with 30 local government departments, more than 450 universities and more than 200 professional training institutions. CEAC Information Training Certification Management Office organized experts from information industry and education departments to participate in the research and development of "Teaching Reform Scheme for Computer Public Courses in Vocational and Technical Education", which is based on the achievements of the key project of Ministry of Education "Research and Practice of Curriculum Setting and Teaching Content System Principles in Higher Vocational Education" and "Research and Experiment of Curriculum Structure Reform and Textbook Reform in IT Field of Higher Vocational Education" and "Solutions and Development Methods of Double-Certificate Vocational Education".
On the basis of fully investigating the current situation of vocational education in China and the demand of enterprises for employment, the scheme adopts the "employment-oriented systematic curriculum development method of vocational ability" for system design, which fully embodies the new vocational education curriculum view of "employment-oriented and career-oriented". Computer public course scheme is a part of two series of professional teaching reform schemes for higher vocational and secondary vocational schools launched by CEAC Information Training Certification Management Office, including two public modules: computer application and information office, in which "computer application" includes courses such as computer foundation and operating system, information office, database and programming foundation, and "information office" includes courses such as document processing, spreadsheets, presentation documents and e-mail. The content design of the module meets the requirements of enterprises for the post ability of computer application personnel.
With reference to the IT professional certificate system at home and abroad, the project research group embeds the professional certificate standard (computer application assistant engineer) into the public course in the project design, so that the public course of vocational technology highlights the requirements of professional post ability, and enables students to obtain the technical certification certificate issued by the competent department of information industry without extending the class hours.
