Xinhui is located in the southwest of Pearl River Delta, on the banks of Yinzhou Lake and downstream of Tanjiang River. It borders Zhongshan in the east, Doumen in Zhuhai in the south, Jiangmen city center in the north, Heshan in the west, Kaiping in the southwest, and the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Macao, with a land area of 1.387 square kilometers and a population of 774,300. Xinhui district history and culture: it belonged to Nanhai county in Qin and Han dynasties.
