In September 2020, after three years of upgrading, Yacheng Middle School was completed and officially managed by Chongqing Nankai Middle School Education Group. In August, 20021year, it was officially renamed as Yacheng Middle School in Sanya with the approval of the higher education administrative department.

Yashi Yacheng Middle School is located on the picturesque Ningyuan River, next to Yazhou Old Town and Sanya Yazhouwan Science and Technology City. It is the cradle of cultivating talents in the west of Sanya.

The school was established in 1926 with a long history. Its predecessor was the famous Aoshan Academy. It was renamed Yaxian Middle School, Yaxian Middle School and Yaxian No.2 Junior Middle School in Guangdong Province, and 1958 was renamed Yacheng Middle School.

1August, 1984, with the approval of the State Council, Yaxian county was removed from the county to establish Sanya city, and the original site of the middle school was renamed "Yacheng Middle School in Sanya City". 20 13 was awarded as "Hainan Provincial Standardization School" by Hainan Provincial Education Department in August.
