Good majors of Yangzhou University are: animal medicine, agronomy, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, and civil engineering.

1, Animal Medicine: Based on biology, it studies the occurrence and development of animal diseases, and on this basis, it diagnoses and prevents diseases to ensure animal health. In particular, science majors will involve analytical chemistry and organic chemistry (the study of drug structure) animal biochemistry.

2. Agronomy: it is a science that studies the fields related to crop production, including the laws of crop growth and development and its relationship with external environmental conditions, pest control, soil and nutrition, planting system, genetics and breeding and other fields.

3. Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering: Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering is an interdisciplinary subject based on mechanics and hydrology, which is mainly an applied comprehensive subject to study the planning and design, operation control, related environmental problems and sustainable development of water conservancy and hydropower engineering.
