China's long history is brilliant because of calligraphy. For thousands of years, the endless Chinese culture has been developing and progressing, which has had a far-reaching and tremendous impact on human culture. Today, with the rapid development of modern science and technology, calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools has inadvertently fallen into the dilemma of "internal worries and foreign invasion", and even in some "local areas" seems to be in danger of "sinking and dying". This is the present situation of calligraphy education as an educational tradition in China. In order to fully implement the national common language and writing law, implement the specific requirements of writing education in the basic education curriculum standards, and give full play to the great role of writing in students' growth, we must implement the task of "learning to standardize popular block letters, improve writing speed, copy famous works and appreciate the aesthetic value of calligraphy" required by the Chinese curriculum standards for primary and secondary schools, and comprehensively improve quality education. Traditional civilization, traditional culture and quality education have been strongly impacted. Under the historical background that the fine tradition and the spirit of the times are broken, it is of far-reaching historical and practical significance to attach great importance to the calligraphy education of primary and secondary school students, lead the calligraphy education of primary and secondary schools in China out of the predicament, and cultivate outstanding successors of traditional culture from generation to generation, which is the urgent task of quality education.
As the most important cultural carrier of the Chinese nation, Chinese characters are the treasures of human culture. The creation of Chinese characters is a great contribution of China people to human civilization. It is precisely because of our Chinese characters that Chinese civilization can be passed down from generation to generation. In essence, Chinese characters are a tool for the exchange and inheritance of historical and cultural information of our Chinese nation and the root of our national culture. Without Chinese characters, our China culture would be unimaginable. Writing Chinese characters and creating the calligraphy art of China and China, which touched the world, is the contribution of China people to the world art. As descendants of the Chinese people, writing Chinese characters correctly is the basic requirement of cultural learning, and it is also the writing foundation that we should have to complete the glorious and sacred historical mission of inheriting Chinese culture. It is the unshirkable historical responsibility of educators to seriously guide every student to know, understand and standardize the writing of Chinese characters in schools. In teaching, it is a special task for teachers of every subject to guide students to remove obstacles in learning Chinese characters. Ignoring this task will lead to half the effort or even nothing. Education in the new period is a new, open and comprehensive education, which emphasizes the sustainable development of students. The guiding ideology of this kind of education is good. However, for every student, due to the variety of courses and the large amount of homework, students can't seriously complete the learning tasks of each subject. Even under the pressure of the teacher, it can only be perfunctory. Teachers face a mountain of scribbled homework every day, which is puzzling! ? In fact, even if everything is a bad thing, it happens and develops for a reason. Educational science has proved that any kind of performance of students can be found in their historical background and their direct mentor-teachers. Especially in writing, most students are influenced by teachers. Nowadays, students are prone to make mistakes and problems in their writing. There are many reasons, many of which come from educational mechanisms and teachers. This paper analyzes the reasons why students are prone to make mistakes. This kind of analysis will help students to correct typos, guide students to further improve their ability to use language correctly, help students to fundamentally improve their national cultural literacy, and lay a solid writing foundation for them to understand and study China's national culture. Facts have proved that without a good written foundation, it is impossible for anyone to study and explore culture smoothly, let alone enter the profound cultural palace of China smoothly and make creation and contribution to society. The practical experience of education and teaching proves that the neglect of calligraphy education in schools will lead to the decline of the quality of education and teaching in schools, which will greatly restrict students' cultural learning and future development. In order to change the present situation that schools ignore calligraphy education, improve students' calligraphy level in an all-round way and implement the requirements of quality education, after in-depth research and analysis, the author thinks that the reasons why modern students can't write well are as follows.
First, modern educational concepts do not pay enough attention to students' writing.
Concept is a key issue and plays a decisive role in education. Since the end of last century, "educational transformation" has undergone tremendous changes. Until today, there is still the phenomenon of "wearing new shoes and taking the old road". How many people painstakingly pursue "modernity" but lose "tradition", and the result is that both sides "cheat". Calligraphy is the essence of China culture and the national treasure of China. It should be an important part of quality education, but it is not seen in today's quality education. I want to know what kind of "quality" the descendants of our nation need. ! It goes without saying that every parent's ambition is successful, and every teacher also hopes that his students will achieve excellent results from the bottom of his heart. However, in the process of education and teaching, we only pay attention to the so-called intellectual development, because the position and function of calligraphy have been ignored in the examination, assessment and examination, so teachers are always worried about those ugly or even unfamiliar words in test papers and exercise books. Because of the heavy task of education and teaching, no one has the energy to train students to write and correct their typos. And it seems to have little to do with the exam. Due to the progress of science and technology and the wide use of computers, writing education is paid less and less attention by teachers and students. Today's educational concept serves economic construction and is purely utilitarian. In the case that writing is not tested in any exam, no one attaches importance to writing education and blindly conforms to the needs of this society and the baton of the interests of the exam (originally this concept is a dangerous concept that completely ignores the essence of national culture).
Calligraphy ability is not tested by papers, and the quality of words has nothing to do with the performance of students and teachers. That's right, so any teacher can ignore writing. Finally, students can't write well or like to write typos. There seems to be no teacher in charge, but everyone does. Of course, in the final analysis, this matter is still a series of contradictions caused by educational ideas. Students' writing level is not linked to teachers' performance, which is why teachers think that they have never taught students the task and responsibility of writing, and all subjects shirk each other, leaving room for students to capitalize typos. People often think that the phrase "Confucius doesn't think ugly words" creates a good "ecological environment" for writing typos. One is that you are not suspected of being ugly, and the other is that typos are not investigated. It seems to be calling on people to be "generous" like Confucius and always be tolerant on the issue of words. Confucius was a famous educator in ancient China. He has a good ethics of "teaching people tirelessly", so he will never give up writing ugly words. His tireless education of students is the true meaning of this sentence, which can never be understood as his tolerance and abandonment of ugly words. In addition, some people think that writing has nothing to do with ability, and it is not important to grasp the education of writing. As some teachers say, "Just do your homework, whether it's good or not." In everyone's tolerance, the students' handwriting is ugly and wrong. Have a good trip! To truly correct students' bad habits and truly inherit our national culture, we must fundamentally raise awareness, change ideas, put forward clear requirements for writing education in educational and teaching institutions at all levels, establish a feasible and complete supervision, inspection and evaluation mechanism, and implement writing education.
Second, modern teachers' calligraphy literacy needs to be further improved.
Good writing is the minimum requirement for teachers and the first qualification to be a teacher. To give students a glass of water, the teacher must have a bucket of water. First of all, our teacher should write well, which is the premise for students to write well. However, the lack of excellent calligraphy teachers and excellent calligraphy demonstrations in current schools is an important reason why modern students can't write well. In the past, teachers in China were very particular about writing style, which was proved by the requirement of "chess, calligraphy and painting" in the history of China. In the early years, how many teachers wrote poorly? ! I have met several "old gentlemen" (as teachers used to call them). They personally wrote on leather paper and bound the teaching materials by hand. Through that big book, the whole article, neat, fresh and beautiful words, I saw their rigorous academic pursuit, meticulous work attitude and never-ending professionalism. These are enough to prove that they are role models for students. They are conscientious and persistent, "never tire of learning and never tire of teaching", and have been unknown for decades, selfless dedication, giving people an academic strength and infection with lofty dedication. Modern teachers lack the faith and determination of calligraphy professional training, pay no attention to it, even lack sufficient understanding of the standardization of Chinese characters, and do not fully realize the significance and role of Chinese characters in expressing China culture, which leads to insufficient writing ability. Fundamentally speaking, modern teachers don't have that kind of academic spirit, and they can't come up with academic textbooks to prove that their life value lies in serving the people's education wholeheartedly, to prove that they have the ideal of being a teacher. As a teacher, he often doesn't read theory, doesn't understand theory, doesn't insist on writing, and can't write well, so some teachers avoid talking about it in their teaching career for decades, and his students can't write well like him. Standardizing the writing of Chinese characters is an important event in the historical process of Chinese cultural accumulation and inheritance, an important part of cultural education, and the responsibility and obligation of every educator. Effectively improving teachers' writing education ability is the requirement of quality education in the new period and the need of the times. Modern teachers should fully realize the gap between themselves and the requirements of the times from a historical perspective, strengthen their study and quickly become veritable student writing instructors. Because it is not only a professional requirement, but also a historical mission, having high calligraphy ability is an important symbol of teachers' personality charm, which should be highly valued by teachers.
Third, in the process of assignment, we only pay attention to quantity, not quality. The poor pertinence of homework and inadequate feedback and correction are the fundamental reasons for the decline of students' writing ability.
Homework is an important means to improve students' learning level. Through students' homework, important information about teaching can be obtained, and calligraphy teaching is no exception. In-depth analysis and research on students' homework, full understanding of students' learning characteristics, setting learning goals, grasping the number of homework, paying attention to the quality of homework, and timely feedback and correction are the keys to the success of education and teaching. The accumulation of good homework behavior is the process of gradually forming good study habits. Pay attention to the details of students' study, and don't let go of big mistakes, even mistakes in paintings are big things. The ability of homework processing is an important embodiment of a teacher's teaching ability, and successful teaching comes from successful homework processing. It is punitive for students to focus only on quantity and not quality, and it can't achieve good results. Attention should be paid to the handling of homework in calligraphy teaching.
Fourth, modern primary and secondary school students lack good writing habits and methods.
Writing needs good habits and formal method guidance, otherwise it will not produce good learning effect. Generally speaking, students don't sit upright when writing, their exercise books don't stand upright, they write too big or too small, or they write askew ... What's more, they often make many mistakes in the process of copying, all of which come from very bad study habits. If students want to write well, they should start with their usual writing habits, and cultivate their habit of reading the original text carefully, paying close attention to the difficulties and not letting go of difficult words in every learning link. Only by forming such a habit can we have tangible gains. In addition, students need the guidance of scientific methods. Without the guidance of scientific methods, they can't get the true meaning of learning, and they can't learn anything by scribbling at will, let alone meet the correct and standardized writing requirements. In recent years, in the hard-pen calligraphy competition of our school, there are more than 900 works with typos and only dozens without typos every time we receive about 1000 works. This ratio really deserves our teacher's in-depth thinking and analysis. We should try our best to find the root of the problem, reflect on the mistakes in our work and take part in the competition, which every contestant should pay attention to. Why are there so many mistakes? Is it inevitable or accidental? ! Through in-depth analysis, we can know that it must be the "serious consequences" caused by the teacher's failure to pay attention to cultivating students' good writing habits and giving guidance on writing methods. From this, we teachers can think of what students need in their studies. Teachers should focus their work on peacetime, because it is the golden bits and pieces of behavior habits gradually formed, and it is too many key links that determine whether our education and teaching work has gained anything. Ignoring every point in this process will lose the line and face of teaching work and even destroy the body of quality education. Therefore, teachers should pay full attention to the formation of students' behavior habits and the guidance of correct writing methods.
Fifth, the teacher didn't look for the writing rules from the composition of Chinese characters, which also made the students lack standardized Chinese writing guidance.
The formation of Chinese characters has its own laws. Teachers should make full use of this law, guide students to analyze the whole and part of each Chinese character, study the whole and part of each chapter, try to explore the law between Chinese character strokes and their writing tools, understand the relationship between Chinese character writing and strength, writing action, explore the law of Chinese character shape characteristics and basic strokes, and explore the aesthetic law of Chinese characters. Students can write standardized Chinese characters on the premise of mastering the writing rules of Chinese characters. China's Chinese characters are square and clear. Seeing China's Chinese characters gives people a beautiful enjoyment. For primary and middle school students, it is very important to master the physical characteristics of Chinese characters, master the basic stroke rules and guide the writing methods. Modern students can't write well because they lack the exploration and research of calligraphy methods and rules, and always write according to their own feelings. After writing for many years, I still don't know what a pen is, what a structure is and what a chapter is. I don't know the rules of "one word doesn't fit two feet" and "don't be short of two pounds"
Teachers should pay attention to let students know all the rules of Chinese character writing, which will help them to study independently, further explore and study the art of calligraphy, and lay a solid foundation for future study.
In order to truly correct students' bad writing habits, effectively implement writing education and effectively improve students' ability to write Chinese characters correctly and standardly, teachers in all subjects must deeply analyze students, analyze teaching methods, take practical and effective measures, suit the remedy to the case, adjust working methods at any time, and guide students to the track of correct and standardized writing. Any student's growth in learning depends on the education and teaching measures of schools and teachers, and writing education is no exception. Successful education stems from successful educational measures. In order to improve students' writing education, after years of teaching practice, the author believes that there are several measures to improve students' writing level, which can reverse the situation that schools, teachers and students do not attach importance to writing education and write badly. Only by taking the following measures can we truly implement the basic requirements of quality education for students' writing education.
(1) As a school, we should first strengthen the training of language basic skills of teachers in all subjects, put forward clear requirements for teachers, and conscientiously implement the national laws and regulations on language and writing in schools.
(2) In the teaching of various subjects, we should strictly control the use of words and bring them into the scope of management, and make concerted efforts to catch up with typos;
(3) As a school, we should often carry out competitions on Chinese character application knowledge and ability to improve students' enthusiasm and initiative in consciously regulating the use of Chinese characters;
(4) Constantly reward the collectives and individuals who have contributed to the standardized use of language and writing, and create a good cultural atmosphere.
(5) Schools should hold regular calligraphy competitions to stimulate students' interest in learning, enrich their study life and improve their writing ability and comprehensive quality.
Writing education for students is the most basic task that schools and teachers should seriously complete. In school, any teacher has the responsibility and obligation to give guidance and help to students' writing. Writing is an indispensable basic project for the future development of students in modern education, which should be highly valued by educators. Writing education is an important part of quality education, and quality education without writing education is imperfect education. Paying attention to writing education will have a far-reaching impact on people's life.
