How to Cultivate Children's Dance Literacy
Dance education is an important part of art education. Through my investigation on the teachers and teaching ability of primary and secondary school music teachers in some areas, I found that the skills of primary and secondary school music teachers are not very comprehensive. Most teachers have only one skill, they can teach singing, but they can't choreograph. Those who can choreograph may not teach singing well. In the daily training and assessment, I also found some problems: most students' dance teaching ability is poor; The basic theory of dance composition is not well mastered, the choreography is not carried out according to the law of dance composition, and the choreography action is not standardized; Not open enough in performance, failing to grasp the inherent characteristics of dance; In the national folk dance examination, individual students' movements are inconsistent with dance music; In the examination of ballet training, there are some problems such as poor soft opening and poor body lines. What is particularly prominent is that the appearance of the above problems in the simulation teaching process leads to the poor psychological quality of students, which affects the teaching progress and the integrity of teaching links because of nervousness and shyness. In view of the above problems, we should strengthen the coordinated development of cultivating students' dance knowledge and comprehensive quality, optimize the dance teaching process, improve the efficiency of dance teaching and effectively implement dance quality education.

First, direct teaching.

The so-called direct teaching is to systematically impart dance knowledge and theory to students through special dance classes.

1. Strengthen the cultivation of basic teaching ability.

Dance teaching pays attention to the method of "oral teaching". First of all, we should cultivate the ability of language expression, require students to understand and master the language connotation of dance movements, and at the same time cultivate the ability of teaching oral expression. Accurately express the action requirements, try to be colloquial, popular and easy to understand, which is suitable for the "colloquial" language habit. When teaching a new class, I first demonstrate the basic movements, and then ask the students, "If you are a teacher, how do you teach this movement to the students?" Through all kinds of questions, strengthen training, promote students' thinking and exercise students' language expression ability. It is especially important for students to observe, analyze and appreciate dance movements correctly, and to train them to master the accurate essentials of movements and express them in standardized and correct language. "Teaching by example" is the display of body movements, and demonstration teaching is also an important means to cultivate students' teaching ability. Dance is an art of expressing thoughts and feelings with standardized, organized and rhythmic human movements. Demonstration and teaching must start with standardization. Dance movements are accurate in rhythm, expressive and infectious, accurate in dance style, elegant and generous in dance posture, smooth in movement, correct and good in dance form, relaxed and comfortable in limbs, strong in muscle ability and skilled in technical skills, all of which are taught by teachers through personal demonstration.

2. Basic training of imitation.

Imitation is the initial enlightenment, and the creation of dance movements often begins with imitation, and the creation is gradually improved and developed from imitation, especially for students with little knowledge of dance. On the basis of imitating the original action, some associations are generated and changed, from which some creative enlightenment is obtained. In this way, students are trained to use existing dances and exercise their organizational skills. Using this simple method based on imitation can stimulate students' creative interest and easily enter the door of creative editing.

3. Improve the examination methods.

The improvement of examination methods and the organic combination of teaching and artistic practice are indispensable supporting measures for the formation of dance teaching ability. Pay attention to the combination of theory and practice in the examination, strive to cultivate all-round talents who can jump, edit and teach, and take students' teaching ability as an important basis for assessment. The exam is divided into two parts, one part is the theory part, and the other part is the practice part. In this way, we can examine students' dance arrangement ability and dance teaching ability, so as to better evaluate students' comprehensive dance quality and find out the shortcomings in time.

4. Cultivate students' artistic appeal in appreciation teaching.

Appreciation teaching is a practical activity for students to perceive, experience and understand art, and dance is often called "the direct language of the soul", which is a physical art of human beings. It reflects real life, expresses people's feelings and shapes artistic images with body movements and rhythms, and expresses the resonance between the soul and natural beauty with the body. For example, we appreciate the Northeast Yangko of the Han nationality, which has a strong local flavor and folk characteristics, and we should appreciate the beauty of vigor, pungent, vigorous and steady, which is the artistic feature of the simple folk dance in Northeast China. In the whole process of appreciation, let students actively feel the connotation of dance, rise to rational understanding through perception and experience, cultivate students' understanding ability and grasp the emotional tone of dance. Therefore, understanding the connotation of dance is an important means to improve artistic accomplishment, and higher artistic accomplishment is an important part of dance teaching.

Second, indirect teaching.

The so-called indirect teaching refers to the infiltration of dance into students at all levels of non-subject teaching and school collective life.

1. Strengthen the close combination of after-school exercises and practice.

In order to strengthen students' teaching ability, strengthening after-class exercises is a process from quantitative change to qualitative change. In order to get good results, we must take a two-step approach. First, exercise exercises, combining class with class, combining group with individual, class learning unified dance, group collective practice, performance, comment and exercise students' dance skills; After class, you must review the old lessons, practice repeatedly, remember the main points, and achieve mastery. In addition, combined with the school's entertainment group dance competition, students are required to write and perform, and they can also use the holidays to rehearse the dance. Second, let students use various parties, commemorative performances and celebrations to practice choreography and arrange small programs, and through the tempering of performance practice, promote the classroom learning effect. In the process of rehearsal, it is also a practical opportunity for simulation teaching.

2. Use the opportunity of performance practice to continuously improve the creative level and teaching ability.

Cultivating high-quality talents with innovative thinking and practical teaching ability will become the focus of dance teaching. Performance practice provides teachers and students with a lot of creative opportunities, which enables them to constantly try to create, hone their creativity, stimulate their creative inspiration and constantly improve their creative level. It is beneficial for performance majors to display their skills, greatly cultivate and exercise their innovative thinking and application ability of technical skills, accumulate experience in dance performance, and discover and tap their own potential. At the same time, in the practice of dance creation, innovation and change, in the cross-tempering of performance practice and dance teaching, teaching and performance, learning and practice are carried out simultaneously, thus cultivating and strengthening students' innovative thinking and improving teaching ability.

3. Increase viewing opportunities and exchange stage experience.

Teaching is regular, not fixed. The important thing is to create and skillfully use it in dance teaching practice. Observing various performances frequently in practice teaching can not only improve students' artistic appreciation ability, but also gradually cultivate students' self-study ability. By taking advantage of various observation and learning opportunities, students' personalities can be fully displayed and their potentials and specialties can be stimulated. The study of watching performances not only broadens students' horizons, promotes students' dance application ability, finds and solves problems in class, and the two complement each other, thus improving students' teaching level.

To sum up, the cultivation and practice of basic teaching ability has greatly promoted the combination of classroom teaching and practical teaching, and greatly improved the teaching level; Stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers and students for dance creation and promote the improvement of creative level; It cultivates students' innovative thinking and practical application ability of technical skills. Therefore, it is very necessary to strengthen the basic teaching ability and performance exercises in dance teaching, so as to meet the requirements of the training objectives of junior college education. To lay a solid foundation for cultivating compound talents with high quality and strong skills. In the future, we will go along this road, give full play to the function and role of performance exercises in dance teaching, constantly explore and explore new methods of dance teaching, constantly improve dance teaching skills, and make contributions to improving the teaching level of dance colleges in China!
