Education Bureau: formulated in accordance with the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) Municipality on Organizational Establishment Committee.
Education Committee: The predecessor of the Ministry of Education is the State Education Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Education Committee).
2. Different responsibilities:
Education Bureau: The Ministry of Education is the government department in charge of education and language work.
Education Committee: according to national policies, formulate specific policies, decrees and rules and regulations related to education, supervise and inspect their implementation, investigate and study, and summarize and exchange experiences; Formulate and revise the national education development plan (plan), financial plan and capital construction plan, and check the financial management of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and schools directly under the central government.
3, the time is different:
Education Bureau: it appeared before 1975, and was reorganized and revoked, and the Ministry of Education was restored, and it was not replaced until the State Education Commission was established.
Education Commission: it appeared after 1975.
The main responsibilities of the State Education Bureau are:
(a) to fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education and organize their implementation.
(2) To study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, draw up the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, educational system reform and school-running system reform.
(3) To be responsible for national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education and higher education (including running schools by social forces), and to coordinate, guide and supervise the educational work of all districts, counties (countries) and relevant departments.
