On May 22nd, the Ministry of Education issued an announcement on the proposed approval of the establishment of undergraduate colleges. There are two newly-built undergraduate colleges, namely Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts. The publicity shows that according to the People's Republic of China (PRC) Higher Education Law, the Provisional Regulations on the Establishment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities, the Provisional Regulations on the Establishment of Ordinary Undergraduate Schools, the Standards for the Establishment of Vocational Schools at Undergraduate Level (Trial) and other laws, regulations and provisions, after the expert inspection and evaluation of the Eighth National College Establishment Evaluation Committee and the deliberation of the party group meeting of the Ministry of Education, it is proposed to establish seven schools including Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is hereby publicized. According to the announcement, the Ministry of Education plans to build two new undergraduate colleges, namely Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts. It is proposed that Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine be renamed Hebei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fujian Institute of Engineering be renamed Fujian Institute of Engineering, Xinyang Normal College be renamed Xinyang Normal College, and Shanghai Sport University be renamed Shanghai Sport University. Shenzhen Vocational and Technical University will be established by integrating resources based on shenzhen polytechnic.
The Ministry of Education intends to agree to build a new Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The declared province is Chongqing, and the nature of running a school is public. Official website showed that Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was formerly the Chongqing Chinese Medicine Continuing Education School founded by the Ministry of Health of Southwest Military and Political Committee 195 1, and was renamed Chongqing Chinese Medicine School in Sichuan Province and Chongqing Chinese Medicine School in succession. 200 1, Chongqing School of Traditional Chinese Medicine was merged into Chongqing Medical University, and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chongqing Medical University was established.
Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts:
The reporter noted that among the seven schools that have been publicized, the Ministry of Education intends to agree to build the Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and the declared province is Henan Province, and the nature of running the school is private.
