I happen to be a rural primary school teacher. Unfortunately, the central school is in the city, and I teach in the only affiliated primary school. Big exams, quizzes, homework quality, writing and students' comprehensive quality are compared all the time, and the same standard assessment is linked to the results! It's sad to think about that taste and pressure. The gap between students' academic level and cognitive ability is mainly reflected in the following two aspects:
First, the hardware. Especially in the teaching of science subjects, many rural schools do not have perfect laboratories and experimental equipment, let alone hands-on operation to obtain experimental data. Many experimental data and equipment names rely on rote memorization and mechanical memory. I haven't even seen the real thing, but I have to know it thoroughly. A little reluctant, the score will be different. In addition, there are many hardware facilities that can't keep up with schools in the city. Although the country is vigorously developing and improving rural education, and school buildings are no longer brick walls, there is still a gap.
2. Software. Strictly speaking, this is the main aspect that leads to the gap between rural education and urban education. I won't go into details, but simply compare the children's learning situation. Is it an undeniable fact that parents of students in cities are generally well educated? Parents can help children who don't understand at school, but what about children in rural areas? Perhaps the child's own education is the highest in the family. Who will guide them? No kidding, this is the case in our class! And students in the city can choose to go to cram schools. Don't think that those who get good grades won't go to cram school. It is the army of cram schools that get better grades. Our headmaster's daughter has made up for it all the way since she was a child and is ahead of the class. Where can rural children make up for it? You don't have to help at home It's good to do your homework quietly. You asked me when the gap began to widen. If we have to get to the bottom of it, there will be a gap from the moment of reincarnation. May every rural child study hard, break the shackles of fate and have a broad world.
