Why did you enroll in the GCE "O" course of Weber Institute of International Education?
(1) Weber Institute of International Education has a beautiful campus environment and complete teaching facilities.
Weber Education Group owns Weber International Education College, Weber Language School and Weber International Tourism Management College, which are located in two closed and independent campuses, namely, No.58 Lowland Road and No.2 Jalan Seh Chuan2. Moderate location, tree-lined, beautiful environment, safe and quiet. The transportation is convenient and fast, extending in all directions. There are shopping centers, supermarkets, banks, department stores and other perfect living facilities around the campus, and there are many high-end houses nearby for international students to rent, which avoids the rush between dormitory and school and facilitates students' peace of mind.
The whole campus is equipped with modern teaching buildings, lecture halls, multimedia computer rooms, libraries, chemistry and physics laboratories (at present, only two or three private schools in Singapore have these two laboratories). As well as practice model rooms suitable for hotel management and catering management courses, there are also basketball courts, football fields, badminton courts, canteens and other supporting facilities. Garden-style campus provides an ideal learning environment for students, and high-quality teaching facilities allow students to enjoy colorful campus life while receiving high-quality education. According to statistics from the Ministry of Education of Singapore, 98% of private schools are located in office buildings, some of which are as small as two classrooms, while Weber Education Group has two campuses, each of which covers an area of 19000m2. For Singapore, where land is scarce, Weber's school building is second to none among all private schools.
At present, students from Bo Wei come from 12 countries, less than 60% from China, and 40% from Indonesia, Thailand, Russia, South Korea, Myanmar, Hongkong, Taiwan Province and Japan. It can be said that Bo Wei is like a "small United Nations", and China students can experience real multiculturalism when they come to Bo Wei.
(2) Weber International Education College has complete qualifications.
According to official statistics, there are nearly 1 125 private schools in Singapore. These schools vary in size and teaching level. In order to standardize management, the education department of Singapore government has successively issued various qualifications to restrain the daily behavior of private schools. At present, the qualifications granted by Weber Institute of International Education include: the qualification of Education Department of China Embassy in Singapore, the qualification of Singapore Quality-oriented Private Education Institution (SQC-PEO), the qualification of Singapore Consumers' Association for Guaranteed Labeling Education Service (CASETRUST), the qualification certificate of labor skills issued by Singapore Labor Development Bureau (WSQ) and the qualification certificate of ISO900 1:2000 issued by British international quality management system certification body.
Among the numerous educational qualifications in Singapore, three are the most important, namely, SQC-PEO certification issued by the Bureau of Standardization, CASETRUST certification issued by the Consumers Association, and certification issued by the Education Office of the China Embassy in Singapore. Only schools with these three certifications are the most formal schools that can legally enroll students in Singapore and China.
The SQC-PEO certification issued by Singapore Bureau of Standards and Innovation is a comprehensive evaluation of the overall environment, teaching hardware facilities, teachers and students' evaluation of school teaching. At present, among thousands of private schools in Singapore, only 27 have SQC-PEO certification. Schools that have obtained this certification will also enjoy the green channel given by the Singapore Immigration Bureau:
(1) No matter how old students are, they don't need to go to the Beijing Embassy for an interview, and notarial certificates don't need double certificates;
(2) No S $5,000 immigration deposit is required;
(3) The visa period is 2-4 weeks;
(4) The time for students to pass the certificate is the same as the course time, and there is no need to renew the certificate in the middle;
(5) After the students' permission is cancelled, they are given one month to legally stay in Singapore.
CASETRUST certification issued by Singapore Consumers Association has three main points:
First, students must remit the tuition fees to the account designated by the Consumers Association, and the Consumers Association will remit the money to the school on a monthly basis until the international students' courses expire.
Second, the Consumers Association requires private schools to clearly inform all parents, students and the transparency of the school's fee refund regulations and policies.
Third, if a school wants to recruit foreign students, it must pass CASETRUST certification, which means that this certification is mandatory.
The Education Office of the Embassy of China in Singapore certifies private schools in Singapore. Strictly speaking, any private school that wants to recruit China students in China must have this qualification. Without this certification, the school can't recruit new international students in China. This certification began in 2000 and is conducted every two years. At present, 42 private schools in Singapore have obtained this certification, among which our education group accounts for 3. The relevant staff of the Education Office of the China Embassy in Singapore revealed that this certification will be restricted in the future.
