Is China Education OK?
I have never been abroad, and my understanding of foreign education is also through the media, internet and television. But as a teacher, I definitely know about domestic education. I don't know what the best education looks like, but I know that schools are definitely not like this now. This is definitely not the education that everyone expects. At present, the biggest problem in domestic education is:

First, our educational model is too single.

Although we have carried out countless experiments of curriculum reform, we basically failed in the end, because the ultimate goal of reform is achievement, so the outcome is basically the same, that is to say, there is no reform. Teachers who really teach in the classroom now understand that it is no different from that in the 1970 s, and it is still mainly explained by teachers. Although the new curriculum reform now requires students as the main body, it is difficult for teachers to do so in reality. Students' learning mode is also very simple, that is, they mainly brush questions, because only in this way can their grades be improved quickly, and the first-year students are no exception, and they have entered various brush questions modes since childhood. Nowadays, many students are tired of learning, which is related to the current education model. This single mode can easily make students feel tired, not to mention how much they love learning.

Second: There are many people at the bottom, but it is too difficult for them to change their fate through education.

We are different from developed countries. Even if their children don't study well, they will have a relatively happy life and a good social welfare system, which is too difficult in our country. Today's children, even if they beat many people out of their last undergraduate courses, earn only a few thousand yuan a month. The point is that there are still many children who may not even get into high school and learn any skills (because of poor vocational education). Even if you finally learn some skills, your social status and treatment are very low, and you can't get due respect in society. There are many such people at the bottom, and most rural children are basically like this. They can hardly change their destiny, which is too difficult. If education can't make the bottom people change their fate, I don't think it is the best education.

Third, education equity is the bottom line of society, and we have not done enough.

Some people say that exam-oriented education is already fair. What else is it like? But is the present exam-oriented education really fair? Why is there a huge difference between urban and rural areas in compulsory education in China? Why are there key schools and non-key schools? Why can't children in a region enjoy exactly the same education? Why are some college entrance examination provinces not taken care of? Why is it so difficult for children to go to school nearby? Counseling fees are getting more and more expensive, and private schools are getting more and more expensive. Are these really fair to rural children? If the fairness of education depends on parents' money, it is unfair in itself.

Fourth, our current education is to select talents, not to cultivate talents.

The goal of education should be to cultivate talents and train all students to be useful to the country. This is the purpose of education. But what about education now? Emphasize competition everywhere, emphasize the survival of the fittest everywhere, take care of excellent students everywhere, and ignore poor students. Poor students give the most money to the school but can't enjoy the best education. This kind of education seems to select some talents, but in fact it also wastes a lot of talents. At present, our country has a large population, so waste is wasted. Anyway, there are many people, but after a few decades? What about a hundred years later? If this educational model is maintained, will there be more and more talents?

Of course, foreign education has disadvantages, and education in every country can't be perfect. But people must have something to learn and learn from:

For example: evaluate students and teachers in many ways, not just by their grades; For example: respect the individual differences of students, and students who don't study well can be confident in the sunshine; For example, there is no standard answer to the exam. As long as it is reasonable, it should be encouraged and scored appropriately. For example: pay attention to the beauty of body sound, even if you don't take the exam, everyone attaches great importance to it; For example, the wide entrance and strict exit of universities make it easy to go to universities, and we are not so anxious.

Everyone knows the problem in our education, but the question is why not change it? In fact, these problems are not difficult to solve, as long as you want to solve them. But why is it so difficult in our country? It has been solved for decades, but it can't be solved.

In my opinion, education in Finland is the best, because everyone is fair, and the most important thing is that people don't give up a student (because there are few people in the country, and every child is a treasure and must be cultivated). All countries should learn from these two points. Our national conditions are different, but the goal of education in each country is the same, and the responsibility of education is the same. Even if the college entrance examination is the fairest system at present, I don't think the present education is the best education.
