1, Dunhuang College of Northwest Normal University, was established in May of 20 14, and was jointly founded by Northwest Normal University and Dunhuang Municipal People's Government with the approval of Gansu Provincial Department of Education.

Dunhuang University is a university under construction. The school plans to cooperate with Lanzhou University, Northwest Normal University and Lanzhou University of Arts and Sciences.
