Luxi Middle School in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province is located in Luxi County, southeast of Pingxiang City. It is located on the east coast of Shui Yuan, at the foot of Wugong Mountain. Founded in 1943 and 1978, it was recognized as the first batch of provincial key middle schools by the provincial people's government. Its predecessor was Lianxi Academy founded in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, and its context can be traced back to Lianxi Academy founded by Zhou Dunyi in Luxi County, which has profound historical and cultural connotations. The school covers an area of 6,543,805,000 square meters, with a building area of 66,700 square meters and a green area of 56,000 square meters. There are 63 senior high school classes with more than 3,700 students and 278 faculty members.
