Chengdu normal university, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college sponsored and supervised by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Its predecessor is Sichuan Education Administration School, which has gone through the development stages of Sichuan Education Cadre College, Sichuan Education College and Sichuan Education College. On March 20 12, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was restructured into a full-time undergraduate college and renamed chengdu normal university.
