Liu Feng's determination in scientific research.
Liu Feng grew up in a teacher's family. His father is a physics teacher and his mother is a chemistry teacher. When I was a child, many electrical appliances at home, such as TV sets and radios, were assembled by my father himself. When he was in junior high school, he began to learn to make small things from his father. Liu Feng, who grew up in Yimeng Mountain, an old revolutionary base area, had a feeling of serving the country since childhood: many elders died for the cause of resistance against Japan, and Grandpa was one of the earliest soldiers crossing the river in the War of Liberation. From an early age, his elders taught him: "Be honest, be practical, and always think of others and the country." Influenced by the strong scientific family environment and the red culture in the old revolutionary base areas, young Liu Feng established a belief: devote himself to scientific research and serve the country through science and technology. Recalling the childhood growth experience, Liu Feng said: "The childhood growth environment made me worship and yearn for scientific research very early, which was also the beginning of my indissoluble bond with scientific research."
