What does filial piety mean?
If the elders or the elderly at home are kind, the children or the younger generation will be filial. It is natural that what kind of roots grow what kind of branches. As the saying goes, fish begins to stink at the head. It is very important for parents to set an example to educate their children. Parents are not filial to the elderly, and children will be as filial to their parents as in the past. If parents are filial, then children will naturally honor their parents according to their parents' practices when they grow up. It is said that children should be educated in time.

Virtue refers to inner feelings or beliefs. Used in interpersonal relationships, it refers to humanity and morality. Confucianism believes that "virtue" includes loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, righteousness, softness, respect and modesty.
