Qingdao Ocean Shipping Crew College, located in Shinan District of Qingdao, is a higher vocational and technical college under China Ocean Shipping Group Co., Ltd., and its education administration is under the Shandong Provincial Department of Education. The school is the first batch of famous school project construction units in Shandong Province.

College was founded in 1976, formerly known as Qingdao Maritime School. 1980, approved by the Ministry of Communications, was changed into an adult college and renamed as "Qingdao Ocean Shipping Crew Training College". 1983 was renamed "Qingdao Ocean Shipping Crew College" with the approval of the Ministry of Communications. 20 10, approved by the Ministry of Education, was transformed into an ordinary higher vocational college, renamed as "Qingdao Ocean Shipping Crew Vocational College". In July 2020, based on Qingdao Ocean Shipping Vocational College, China Ocean Shipping Group Co., Ltd. reorganized and integrated its education and training institutions, with one team and four brands operating in a unified way, using four names: China Ocean Shipping Group Party School, China Ocean Shipping University, China Ocean Shipping Research Institute and Qingdao Ocean Shipping Vocational College respectively.
