National Security Education Day is a festival to enhance national security awareness and safeguard national security. July 1 2065438 Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that April 15 is the National Security Education Day for all.

Carrying out the National Security Education Day is undoubtedly of great and far-reaching significance for cultivating and enhancing the sense of responsibility and mission of the whole people to consciously participate in national security, consolidating and building a solid mass foundation for national security, and forming and gathering a strong joint force to safeguard national security. The week of the last week of March every year must be the national safety education day for primary and secondary school students.

It is conducive to improving the legal awareness of the government and the public in safeguarding national security. The core of safeguarding national security is to safeguard the security of national core interests and other major interests, including the security, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of state power, people's well-being, sustainable economic and social development and other major interests of the country.

National Safety Education Day was established because many potential safety hazards related to people's well-being need to be solved. Therefore, the National People's Congress will propose the establishment of such a national security education day to raise public awareness of national security, strengthen publicity in this regard, and make people realize that national security is closely related to each of us.
